I am not sure I understand the first question. If you ask users X to make a Knuffel and he gets the profit I don't see any difference to user X making a Knuffel without anyone asking him to do so.
About the second one: Unfortunately the answer is no. If you look it up you will notice that it says "have had their copyright expire in the United States" and since we aren't in the United States and I can not go on a research about every possible copyright in Germany the rules stays as it is: Only your own design.
I am sorry. I am not doing this to annoy people. Look, you can still work around things. You can make things "inspired" by something, make them similar, as long as they have significant differences. I just can't risk to get KOfK into big legal troubles because of copyright laws.
(Though I find the list a bit odd, I mean "The Greek Myths"? Unless this is the title of some specific books, you can use all the characters from any kind of mythology you want.)
what I meant by the first one was:
Imagine I like how user X draws their knuffles. I therefore ask that user to make a custom knuffle acording to the designs I give him. So its not like him just doing a wild knuffle, its him making one acoirding to my liking.
Said user could then open a shop, where he makes the designs other people give to create wild knuffles (like, "i want a knuffle with wings a pig tail and black hair" whatever, and he draws that, and makes a wild knuffle, like when people make art commisions).
So what I'm asking is 1. is it ok to ask other users to make commissioned wild knuffles? and 2. is it ok for an artist to accept payment to create custom wild knuffles?
