Haha sometimes congee is a little plain but I like how my mom mixed in salmon and tiny pieces of tofu so it tastes good.
Yeah I like warm congee too. Hot one just burn my tongue and it would be bad for my recovery I think.

Ah I see what you mean. At this point I either set the AC at 25 degrees celsius or turn it off.

@Ciel: I like eating congee with salted egg or thousand year egg. When I was a kid, it was always Chinese shredded pork. The adults like it with Chinese sausage or grounded pork, and I have a friend who loves it with pickled vegetables.

Well, I'm glad it turned out well for you, Ciel. :)

Also, I just realized that the AC is much cooler in my brother's and cousin's rooms than the living room. It was so hot this morning, I woke up to the heat and /had/ to turn on the AC, but I was too tired/lazy to go back up the stairs to my loft, so I just passed out in my cousin's room (she's out of town.)


When my friend had her wisdom teeth taken out, she looked like a chipmunk for a while. XD

Ah, I don't eat them together --the egg flavors wouldn't blend well, I'd thing.

Congee makes me incredibly sleepy though --every time I eat it, I want to pass out afterwards.
