That being so, though, it seems like most holidays and festivals are pretty social, unless you just decorate and do something by yourself for yourself, in which case you can have as much of a Halloween as you want? So if you're that much of an introvert, maybe it would be perfect for you to try and invent a solo-version of Halloween to do! If there isn't any big thing created already, there's nobody to interfere and mess it up, right?

Ghost, are you keeping track of donuts for a specific goal, still, or just in general hoarding them, in case?

Simply put, it's definitely not something that's in my culture. I'm French and Halloween didn't pick up until I was older than 10 so even if we did go trick or treating most people wouldn't even know what we were up to. (Deep countryside and a lot of old people in my village).
Now I live in Japan so Halloween is mostly an excuse to sell lots of cute Halloween-y stuff and yet another excuse so everyone can party which is something Japanese people seems they love to do.

So yeah, no Halloween like everyone else seems to be enjoying for me.

Let me try and think about what I love about holidays like Halloween despite being an introvert:

As you said: decorating! I love trying to make my surroundings fit a theme or a mood, so that's a big part of the fun for me. Also seeing other peoples' decorations, eg. driving through the streets at night in December to look for Christmas lights. It sets up a nice atmosphere that I like being in. Seeing other people socialising and having a good time is also a nice atmosphere to be in. If you see me at a party, for example, it's nice to have the company of my friends (not necessarily socialise) and see them having a good time. I like watching horror movies, maybe go on a walk in the middle of the night with a friend/family member etc.

Soo, to sum up my thoughts: I think I enjoy doing things by myself, or even with one other person, but it's the atmosphere of everyone else celebrating that I like too
