Well . . . yes. XD A normal woman my age would eat 2,5OO Calories
a day. In one meal, 1,OOO Calories is a LOT. Your Calorie Deficit is
the difference between how many calories you ate, and how many
you burned. The higher the deficit, the more fat burned. I'd been
doing well and keeping my deficit in the 1,OOO's ( 3,5OO Calories
is equal to 1lb of fat ) aiming to lose about 2-3lbs a week along
with my working out. But after I ate that meal, my calorie counter
site told me that to reach my goal weight I'd have to burn like 5OO more
calories before bed. And one of my 45 minute workouts only burns like
3OO Calories >_> so I would have had to work out for like 2 hours. xD
But it was bedtime by the time I input my information on the site and it
told me how unhealthy that shit was. I'm SO MAD. xD
But I did well all last week, so I guess it's not TOO bad, but I'm not skimping
on my diet again until Ezra's birthday next month, lol.
I didn't really get ingredients, I got ready-to-eat stuff.
I can't cook, so. xD I did get these meal packs that you just add water to
and heat up, made of Quinoa and oats and stuff and Quinoa is
like super healthy. I got 2 packs and each pack makes 3 servings.
So I can make a pack for lunch, then maybe have it again for dinner
or save it for the next day, etc. And since I'm going by servings, the food
lasts longer. My weightloss friend told me that I should eat every 2-3 hours
to help my metabolism go faster. So now I just eat 1 serving of something
every few hours and it keeps me going. But since I am already kinda big,
I get hungry, so I bought healthy snacks so if I just HAD to have
something in my mouth, it would be healthy. xD Like this morning I had
one pack of this weight control oatmeal [ which just meant it didn't have any
sugar and bad stuff in it, it still tasted good ;u ], one of these little mini
cheese wheels and a glass of reduced fat milk. And once the baby goes to sleep,
I'm gonna go do my workout, and then eat a Chobani Greek Yogurt :D
Diets are tedious. At least in the beginning. The first day was such crap for me.
And the second day was easier, then the third day was even easier, etc.
Now it's been a week and I don't even crave junk food. I only got Arby's
yesterday because Angel insisted xD otherwise I would have just drank
water all day and had been fine. I think the most annoying thing is having
to buy different things than what you're used to. I was fine before just eating
what his parents have in the house, but now that I'm dieting I can't eat
all that junk, so I had to really starve for the first week almost lol since I
could only eat like 5% of what was here. But now that Angel and I went health
food shopping I have options and that makes it easier. Just be glad you don't
have to deal with any of this crap. xD
