Of all these pieces of broken dreams
this one that scares and confuses me...
In Swan Princess I like only the story of the kids who did not care much about each other but were forced to deal with eac other every summer. XD And the song about it. XD
But I watched all the three parts and many-many times. And I switched off the sound ond turned on LimpBizzkit CD and wached the movie. XD

mika: i know, i said they NEED a russian movie even though there was anastasia! xD i wasnt calling anastasia disney. ffff it it was i think theyd count her as a princess
alice: but isnt snow white mainly a german story? by the grimm brothers? btu then again... they did make there stories based of fairy tales passed around... i think.. =/ or soemthign like that >> *needs to look up again*
haha and eyah, the swan princess did have interesting songs =>
but i agree. when i was littel i rememerb the story line being pretty interesting but i found it on netflix adn decided to watch it again a few months ago and couldnt believe how choppy, fast, and kinda strange it was xDDD

I guess, that's where Pushkin took his inspiration from. :)
But I can't be sure. Every tale is a result of local belief in gods and spirits and all that jazz, so these are quite similar to all the tribes at least of European continent.
edit: I guess the Swan Princess' ptol has influenced my mind so strong that the idea of a girl being kidnapped for the sake of marriage can't got out of my head. XD
And I'm not going to get married EVER! XD XD

nuuuu think of marriage as a good thing!!! xD hahaha i hate how nowdays ppl make it seem like some horrible thing and/or that youre just screwed bcs you can have anyone else besides youre spouse...
i mean really!? wth! xD
im very fond of the idea of a traditional marriage, and the joy its suppsoed to bring as well as abstinence until then! => guess im kinda old fashioned. I like the dresses, the .... i guess.... giving yorueself over?, and the fact that youll be able to have power over that perosn! >D
the only time where i was ashamed of a wedding was when it was a gay one where the guy ends up getting all girly and "pretty" adn sometimes in a near weddign dress..... i mean... okay you made youre decision, i get it... but PLEEEASSE just wear a TUX!!! *double facepalm* it just .. doesnt LOOK rigth!! xDD you wanan wear white? then get a fricken white tux!! bcs unless youre a transvestite.. Your a guy!!!! please respect that and refrain from wearing womens clothing!!! >w<

@Lunar: People always think that Anastasia is Disney for some reason; I've gotten into the habit of just stating it outright to clear any misconception.
Some guys like wearing women's clothing. Some of those guys aren't even gay. Just saying.
I had a character who practiced abstinence (as a choice). People kept trying to get into his pants. XD

Abstinence is good. But I want to know the person I'm getting mrried to. I want to know as much a possible about a person. In Judaism it's forbidden to marry a person you've never seen because there should not be any irritating thing about your fiance. it doesn't mean a person must be ideal, but there should not be anything that may make it impossible for you to love him\her with all your hart. And if you've never seen someone you can't be sure that you won't hate anything about them.
I go further. XD
I think that it's good to live together before marriage and to make sure that your existance together is possible. Because if you find out the impossibility later - there's going to be a lot of suffering for you and especially for you children. And we havi no right to make children suffer because of our own stupidity.
