I don't know if I'd particularly flattered if someone actually had a gallery and was claiming one of my pictures. But if I happen into an RP and someone was actually using one of my pics as a "character" I'd probably laugh and join the RP with another pic of same character for shiz&giggles. I guess I should care more, but I don't tend to be very happy with my own stuff.

That's probably a good way to be. I sometimes feel kind of nervous or guilty for using other people's art in RPs, but most of the time I don't have a picture that'll work for the character I'm playing. I try to use pictures from games or animes. That way it seems like I avoid ripping off pictures of people who aren't like published or whatnot.

this one that scares and confuses me...
Oh, it's not me actually! It's just the sim creating mod, not a game mod yet. The creating mod looks like a changing room and there's a mirror there. I just cropped the screenshot and left only the girl. I'll put her in game to experiment with views from above and behind and some more light falling from different sides and different colors of the light too. Probably, lol.
I once used a picture of an awesome artist to represent my character. I didn't claim it, I just "used without permission", so yeah, I'm a criminal. XD
But it was the closest image I could find for my OC at that time.

It's been a long time since I was in an RP that was interesting to me, though.
A lot of them die pretty quick too it seems like... It doesn't really make sense to make a character for an RP for it to just die in a week or less...
