I'm not good at drinking lots of liquids at once either. Unless I'm stupid thirsty. And then I will drink until my stomach feels like it's going to explode and I'll still be really thirsty. Idk what up with that. Thankfully it don't happen super often.
In the US being on disability benefits is different than having like disabled parking and stuff. You can get the placard thingy for parking without being on actual benefits. You just gotta get a piece of paper filled out by your doctor and take it to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Have you actually tried applying for the benefits? I have no idea how that stuff works in England. I always thought y'all had better protections for your less healthy citizens.
Maybe us with the invisible illnesses just need to start to be whiney little bitches. lol. Just whine like it really does hurt. Then we can get some actual treatment. Maybe only do it at the doctors though, because otherwise people will be like eww. Which they already are sometimes. Jerks.

Yeah, I started the application. You have to fill in a form first off which kind of finds out whether you are eligible to even apply. And because I can walk more than a few steps, it just exited the form right away and told me I'm not eligible.
Healthcare is good here to a point. But our NHS has no money at all thanks to the recession and how the government since then has cut funding. So we're getting to a point now where nothing works, there aren't enough staff, and you can't get anything free.

Is there maybe a social worker kind of person who can help you?
Here we hire lawyers to fill everything out and then they take a big chunk of our back payments. Because it usually takes at least 2 years to start receiving payments. Which is fucking ridiculous.
Maybe I can flee to Canada. They probably wouldn't accept me.
Huh. That sucks. Sorry hun. Why would they cut money for healthcare? That's like one of the most important things. What they spending it on instead?

I don't think it's even possible to do that. The form is to get you to be able to talk to social workers in the first place XD Then they have to make a home visit and assess you in person. Those are notoriously bad. A group I'm in on Facebook for other people with fibro, there's always a new person literally every day saying how I told them XYZ but they wrote ABC on my form. I remember one woman being upset because the case worker had written that her son was with her and helps out with day to day stuff, but her son had been dead for a few years and it was actualy a nephew or smth who had travelled down to help her on that one day because she was nervous about the meeting. I had similar experiences already with doctors just not paying attention and writing stuff down on my forms that simply wasn't true so I have no doubt I would have some of that happen as well if I even got to that stage.
Plus if we had someone taking out legal fees, there wouldn't be anything left  disability pay is very low here, it doesn't meet the living wage or even minimum wage. Which should be higher than the living wage if you think about it but that's a whole other issue.
They cut spending on everything. Schools, the police, other emergency services. They shut down public libraries and pools across half the country. They raised taxes and increased the fees for higher education as well. They aren't spending it on anything, but they just decided that after the recession we needed to cut our sovereign debt and they promised us just a few years of cuts to get back on track. Since then they've missed every single savings goal they've ever set, and we're still facing cuts nearly 10 years on. This is why I will never, ever vote Tory in my life, and never have done. I don't really understand why the majority of people in this country do, because people must be able to see how bad they're making everything. This whole Brexit mess is just another example.

Man if we had home visits they would've approve me right away. My home is disgusting. Lol.
Oh yeah. I got denied again. I feel like life is really not worth living honestly. I guess I'll try again but if I get denied again I'm not sure what I'm going to do.
I need to call a lawyer.

One of the reasons they denied me is because I don't go to the doctor enough. But the reason I don't go to the doctor is because I don't have any moneeeeyyyy. Fucking idiots.
Maybe. I don't know why they would take us though. I am disabled and my husband has no meaningful job skills. Well besides being a hard worker. But no college degree or anything.

Ugh this is the side of bureaucracy that sucks so bad. Having a specific rule in place that actually should be more flexible to the specifics of the person. It shouldn't be how often did you go, it should be how often did you WANT to go, regardless of whether you were able to.
