I didn't post as much as I would have liked, so I'm gonna have to scramble and really push it for getting the hairs next month before the go.

That sounds really cool actually, but where in the world did you find them? xD
Amazon can be amazing at times for a great price. Etsy has some options as well, but I am a bit more picky as it costs more and the items are sometimes custom pieces. I can also sometimes be moved into actually knitting what I want as long as I can follow a pattern and I don't have to sew anything. Sewing is not my greatest skill...
Also happy belated birthday! :food:

Oh dang. The caravan felt really short this time but I just haven't been able to get online much. Oh well, I bought two more hairs so it was something.

I saw there was some talk about clothing, one of my specialist subjects hahaha. I wear dresses from the 30s and 40s too! although it's only one aspect of my wardrobe. I wear a lot of bright colours and I tend to pick out unusual pieces from designers as I get access to a lot of sample sales and discounts through my work. Apart from skin colour, I actually do dress quite as flamboyantly as my avatar sometimes XD I also dye my hair bright colours a lot of the time, though lately it's just been auburn in order to be less hassle since I don't have a hairdresser at the moment and I'm doing it myself.

How long does it normally take you to get ready in the morning, jacobgrey?
I always wonder that when I see people in styles that are clearly carefully constructed... it looks so good but it also looks so hard...

Thank you~

And I don't know why I didn't think of Amazon, but that makes perfect sense! (Though I'd be worried about sizing when you can't try it on...) And it's awesome that you can also create your own pieces! I know nothing of knitting or sewing or quite frankly any useful life skills. xDDD

And I'll have to push too, got through over a hundred posts this time but I still need 168 donuts.

Honestly I've been pretty okay with the sizing so far. I typically go by what they say the chest size should be as there have been plenty of space for the arms, so I didn't need to compensate for that. I don't think I've had to return a single dress or skirt that was vintage style due to sizing. Shoes on the other hand are f-ing terrible and I have to plan buying them around my check, because even though I'm going to return what I can't wear, I still need to get several sizes of one shoe as my feet have decided that every shoe has to be a different ordeal even though I've worn an 8 1/2 since at the very least middle school...

And none of the women in my house wear the same size, so it's not like I can borrow to match my outfits instead of buying a new pair all the time. Me and my mom are the same size technically, but she wears sandals or open toe shoes and her toes are short, where as my toes are too long and get pinched something awful or hang over the sandals. My sister on the other hand tries to play it off that she has small feet. We found out one evening when they were helping me get ready and she wanted me to borrow a pair of her heels, that she wears almost 2 sizes bigger.

Now I think about it the problem I have the most is that the arms are too short because I have both a big chest and big shoulders so basing your purchases on the chest size can really be a good idea.
It's what I have been doing without thinking because if my chest fits, everything else does.

And I actually wear the same shoe size as my husband so I have been borrowing his sneakers/hiking shoes a lot ^^

I buy my everyday shoes in the men's section because everything in the women's is too narrow in the toe (or falls off my heel because it's too wide in the heel). Means everything for nicer/formal wear has to be cobbled special. So I feel you.

Plus anything oriented towards women has this weird tendency to be deliberately made with much lower quality materials
