Hello Firn,

I just purchased the recent unique Knuffel and wanted to start a contest for it.
I was thinking of making three parts (one for each Knuffel) and I wanted to make a "Social Media" part. Meaning that people who are not good at art or something, can participate by making a post on their tumblr that is Knuffel-related. That could be a "I just bought my first wild knuffel!" or even a tutorial or a get-to-know or something.
But before I start this contest, I wanted to ask if it would be alright or if you would rather me not include social media in that.

hmmm, after the recent tumblr purge i don't use it anymore, so if Firn okays the category it'd be nice if it could be broader about social media. maybe broaden it to blogging platforms. personally i use Dreamwidth.

You are free to do whatever you want with the Knuffel. I aprreciate very much that you want to hold a contest and I think including Social Media is probably a good idea. Thank you very much.
I agree that tumblr doesn't seem to be as active as it use dto be though. I am not up to date wth other Social Media sites that are just for posting images. I think Pinterest is still rather big?

There's a Gallery on Deviantart for KofK specifically.
You could try there.

There's also a Facebook page for KofK that users are part of.
I don't know if it's active because I rarely see notifications pop up.

I'm irked at Tumblr because they got rid of all adult-oriented content.
I got several artworks flagged and they weren't even nude or gory.
So Tumblr can kiss my ass unless they change stuff 8u
They just murdered art and expressing creativity for me.
That's all I know about Tumblr. Sorry to bitch 8u

yeah the thing about tumblr is, the flagging posts isn't manual. it's done by a software which they just fed adult content like 'this is what adult content is like'. and then they unleashed it. but its recognition is suuuuuper faulty, like it's doing a terrible job lmao.

so that's the thing. apart from personally not using tumblr anymore, posting about kofk there could easily get flagged too, and probably will tbh. so it might be best to keep the social media category broad. it may not even be necessary to name which social media sites can be used, perhaps everyone can post on whatever platform they personally use. that way, even the range of platforms where kofk will get promotion in this manner during the contest, will be broader. that's a plus?

I actually don't to exclude any Social Media platform, because that would also mean excluding people. Maybe participants come up with ideas I never thought of ;)

Did you once say Knuffel are like the size to fit in your hands? Would this be true for the NPC? (besides Fungus)

I never really considered the NPCs to be Knuffel. Like Knuffel is a separate kind of pet race. So no, the NPCs would be normal sized, I think? :mcheh:
