They do

The cow farm down the road is still in operation, they had a barn full of just hay burn down
The house nearby had about a dozen satellite dishes in the front yard, all set up
They melted

Also, elementary school kids and cow farm where a kid gets dropped off (other side has a house) and someone sees a cow peeing, if someone's waiting behind they can see the bus bounce as every kid shoves to the right side to watch a cow pee

Sixth grade one of my classmates plastered his hand shut

Maintenance had to use a pry par to force his hand open

12th grade I took food and nutrition as an elective I didn't have squat for electives by then cuz I didn't really take any of the preliminary ones that opened up others and we made one of those layered things you put in a clear cup
Mine was one of the clearest and I attempted to do the strawberry flower thing. It was okay, but high school student doing it for the first time meant that yeah, not gonna be super awesome
Classmates and teacher loved it
Didn't want to eat it cuz berries (I don't like most) and honey (ick) so I ended up with permission to grab a spoon and offer it to the nurse
Which ended up being a good thing cuz she ended up busy during all three lunch periods and forgot to pack one so she was hungry
She loved it
"How many calories do you think is in this?"
Me: think of it in terms of yum
She laughed

I also almost bashed a classmate in the head with a math textbook thick book in that class. He was being a major pain in the ass with one of his friends and kept bumping into me
Didn't cuz teacher I glanced up for whatever reason and saw the teacher's "don't you fucking do it" look, so the schmuck was spared but boy oh boy he made sure to never get to that point again
Teacher thanked me for putting up with them so she would've understood, at least

Also had the principal throw snow into my face after I zombied out in class once oops I'm pretty sure I drove that teacher nuts too, did very meh in his class and was one of the highest scorers of the State Regents for said class
