and how about waterballoons? They're available cheap and give fun and cooling and you can wear tshirts so you don't need bathing suits... or waterpistols. Usually you can find some really cheap... (if you insist on watergames in the end)

Imagine the bath as a boat and the water that splashes in it is just a storm playing up...
There's plenty of scenario's possible.
You can even make paper pirate hats that need to stay dry 'on your honour as a pirate' and that would be the main goal of the game. to keep your hat dry... (is also a possibility if you have small waterpistols. Harder than it looks btw...)

Rubber ducks are fun. You can spend hours trying to line them up in water by causing waves in the water... (you're not allowed to touch them)
or by having them acting out stories... (I was an absentminded kid... )

I have one that I got as a party favor, but we let the fish tank have it.

I know a friend who collects them... I don't have any either... We only have a shower... kinda hard to float ducks in that...

I use to take a bath with my 1980's My Little Ponies. Now my daughter does occasionally depending on how she feels.

They don't seem to notice it. xD;
