Same here! I have some GotQ items but they just don't work with my wardrobe and a lot of items don't have the gold accent without including turquoise and scarlet as well :c

It works if I pile on my GotQ items but that's no fun at all.

Yeah, I guess I'll have to get some Gold commons. Most of my Gold items have Teal and Mocha because I only have event Gold items and those are also colours I don't use very often. After I buy all my Blue Iris items, I suppose.

I'm almost done with this event, too. Just two more room items. I already have enough for 1 so I just need 10 more flowers. I'm really surprised I finished it this year but I guess I shouldn't be. I do have a LOT of time on my hand this year.

Lol, Spica :qhehe:

I bought all these fairy coins. I might get broke, plus I'm devastated I missed out on the white hyades eyes ;-;
Everyone selling everything on the MP to scrape together fps for the Firn's yukata that's on sale.

Zia, is that the strawberry I drew for you SO MANY YEARS AGO. Omg.
I'm surprised I finished with so much time to spare. I don't often bother with participating in these events.

It's generally a good idea to purchase your trial one before it expires so that you can keep the levels on it.

I think the point of coming here is so I can donate to you. ouod

Ahh - makes sense, I will do that :mccool:

Haha I know. I'm just not used to the idea of someone being so charitable. Or - really, a whole community being so charitable to each other. Previous sites I've been on have never been this... nice. :mcheh: Anyways, I don't really have a desire for anything in particular at the moment so I'm happy to just hang around and support. :mcsquee:

Uni is so far away that I get terribly lazy.

My day was pretty standard; went to work, got home, ate dinner and now snug as a bug in a rug- err my bed. I did sneak onto KofK during work though... I'm developing a rebellious streak :mcsquee:

How about you? What did you get up to at home? How far are you from uni? UNSW right? I actually live realllllly close to that uni. Probably closer than most of its students :mcheh:

You seem like a smartypants so I'm sure your skipped day won't be a problem. Pretty much all lectures are recorded these days anyways, right?

Mine was pretty standard as well. I drank heaps of tea.
I have a large to do list that involves going outside that I've been putting it off.
They're not even fun things. It's more of, 'go submit a claim to health insurance, visit medicare etc etc"

Yup. UNSW. I'm an hour away. Technically not too far but enough that I don't go if I'm lazy or it's cold ;-;
I'm jealous. I don't have the income to move out. Even if I could, my parents are really clingy and it'll be really inconvenient because all my doctors are in this area. I WANT TO BE INDEPENDENT THOUGH ;-;
What do you do at work?

I had a 3hr class today and I evaluated that a total of 2hrs travel was not worth it. The lecture is recorded without the lecturers knowledge so it's really shoddy quality. He doesn't use the projectors and neither a mic. He doesn't approve of tech so he's always writing on the chalkboard. Rules are no phones, no laptops, everyone shut up.

@Spica: Oh dear Spica.
Look up Firns Yukata in the market. It's really rare like the pura emoticon and PTK shirt. I wonder if l-lappy would end up bidding 1million fps on it
Haha.

Yay tea! What's your favourite kind? I'm going through an Asian-green-tea only phase at the moment (currently sipping on some Oolong).

Hahaha I completely understand that. I put off getting health insurance for three months before frantically setting it up the week before I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled. The only motivating thing I have is... that once you've set it up, you don't have to think about it for at least a year? Or until the financial year ends. Also it's nice to have medicare and health insurance when something ACTUALLY goes wrong :mcheh: .

. w. Hahahaha... I was the same as you until I actually DID move out for a year and then moved back as I was taking an intense one year course. I was supposed to move out again but I'm still here hehehe. I really missed the simple things like having someone yell at me to get up in the mornings and my dirty clothes mysteriously disappearing off the floor and being freshly laundered (courtesy of mum). Moving out is fun though. I think everyone should do it at least for a year before doing it for real. It's quite a shock if you do it without having any idea what you're getting into (me).

Why don't you live on campus or something? An hour is quite a trek. Alternatively, you can live under my bed. :mclove:

TLDR: I work in a cancer research lab. We're trying to work out exactly how DNA fixes itself. In particular, how it fits in the context of cell division. Normal cells stop cell division (called activating a checkpoint) if their DNA is damaged. Cancer cells usually have screwed up DNA and have evolved ways to get around the normal "checkpoints" that would normally go off when they die. BASICALLY we're working towards developing treatments that exploit this difference between normal cells and cancer cells.

Wut. Is your lecturer from the 1900s or something? Why does he refuse to embrace technology? All of my lectures were recorded, except our lecturers tended to turn them off when giving us special hints about what to study. <- incentive to attend lectures (worked for me).

I usually go for standard English breakfast. Someone got me Melbourne breakfast recently which, in all honesty, is really odd. Today I consumed a lot of matcha green tea hehehe.

I had to get mine pulled last year. Did you get all 4 out as well? ;-;
My mouth still feels weird but I think my molars are finally able to spring out as opposed to being cramped in with my wisdom teeth. Setting up anything is a real big pain. I recently had to get the car insurance done. Iselect were really persistent when it came to getting a hold of me. They called me 4 times in 30mins and it freaked me out. I think after mind numbingly filling out details for quotes, I didn't notice that google auto fill also entered my number. :qhehe:

Does moving out for 3 weeks as a cast of a show count? Haha. My parents visited every week and gave me tonnes of food. Having everything done for you is the best *A* Mum magically irons my clothes and mops the house. I always forget to mop and vacuum cleaners are really heavy. I really want a steamer. I think that would simplify things!

I think I would cry over rent, cooking and my house mates. I wouldn't want to live alone because I'm scaredy cat ;-; Living on campus is pricey. I think it can reach 400 a week. Living around Coogee (if you have friends to share with) is a little cheaper. I know people living around for $150 a week.

Am I living under you bed in a pet kind of way or am I the scary monster under your bed? 8D

I seeeee -knows pretty much zilch about biology-. Is this for cases where cancer returns after apparently being removed?

Don't tell me you work in the Lowy building in upper campus? o-o

I would say the strategy works very well. It forces students to attend his class or suffer poor quality recordings. The theatre is always full in comparison to really empty classes in other courses. I would be more inclined to attend class if engineering wasn't such a pain. They only offer one stream and so you're forced into this fixed timetable where you can literally have a 1 hour lecture on the Friday and then a 6-7 block, no breaks on the Monday. Curse you UNSW mech eng -shakes fist-.
