ugh.. had to move my vine away from the window, cats kept drinking the water >;x been adding a tiny bit of plantfood to the watering can so the aloe and vine can have some foods... and i don't want to risk sick kitties.

gotta wait till i can get that thingy i wanted for the vine before it can have a brighter space ono

lol poor kitties, they have their own water bowls but insist on drinking your plant water. blechh. XD;;

guess you'll hafta be patient. especially during this time.

I plan on getting them a new water fountain. better filtering system, easier to clean, and prettier. and it's clear so if something manages to get inside that shouldn't be there, I can see it and fish it out asap.

they should like that.. maybe if I get a Marimo (water moss ball thinger) and stick it in this new water fountain i plan on getting, maybe it'll have that plant taste they seem to like so much o3o

Someone gave us their old one, but the way it's shaped it's hard to clean and the filter is after the pump instead of before it

Is it normal to buy a cat fountain for your cats? XD;; or is it just personal choice?

it's actually recommended to get one because the moving water gets oxygenated and the filters helps keep the water clean from stuff the cats may put in there, and it saves on water too.

Normal waterbowl: empty out everyday, wash, refil

Water fountain with proper filter and pump: clean and change filter monthly, refill when water runs low.


The cats seem to like the plant water more because the plant filters out bad stuff and oxygenates the water on its own.

Once I get their new fountain up and running they may leave my plant alone >:x if anything I'll add a marimo to their water dish to make it more appealing =w=

some people don't change their cat's water dishes so the water becomes stagnant and gross >:x

yesterday hiro decided to put some cat food in the water >-> then no one wanted it... like don't do that >:x like picked up a full piece of food and took it to the dish and dropped it in.. wtf hiro! D:<

Lol I see. Well if I ever think about getting a pet...well I have my turtle but I would love a fluffy animal. Maybe a rabbit. Rabbits are cute.
