Oh, right. It's because You work at the Uni during writing your PhD, right? At least that's how it works here. During 1st and 2nd year we had lots of classes with such ppl as teachers. But only on practical parts. Theory is always with someone with higher degree.

ml - I won a scholarship. It's highly competitive... Only very few people get paid to do a doctorate. And I'm not boasting, but I am very good at academics. I graduated top of my year for my undergraduate studies.

So the money I get paid is not for teaching. They pay for my tuition fees and I get a grant to spend on living and books and stuff (it's not a huge amount, but it's free).
Sometimes I do some lectures for the uni for free, but if I do any serious work for them (like marking essays) they pay me for that separately.

I hardly go into university. I prefer to study at home...

I think that would probably stress me out too much, I already know what its like taking three upper level math classes at once. @.@ So nope, I'm good. ^^; But wow, that's pretty amazing Jess! And yet you still have time to do your illustration work and the comic. :O

I enjoy studying :) I have to work to make time for the other stuff though. It is hard work.
My comic updates have been less regular since I started my doctorate, I must say... I used to update very regularly.

If your fans can't understand that you have a life beyond the computer then they don't deserve to be your fans. .-.

I noticed that. But I don't really care. I'm just glad every time I get to see new page.

Aw, thank you :mccute:
I don't know what most of my readers think. Nobody's complained to me about the lack of updates recently... But only a few of them ever respond anyway.
I suppose it's more likely that if I'm not updating they stop reading.
