Firn said that even though the Knuffel are actually gender less, seeing them as either boy or girl is okay. And she will be bringing some 'opposite' genders of older Gen's to the market.
So yeah the new Water is supposed to look like the first gen Water.
Just like the Gen 16 Light looks like the Gen 1 Light, and the Darkness Gen 16 looks also like the Gen 1 Darkness.
I guess this is as close as a re-release she will ever do. :}

I really like the silings thing, and I perfectly see it in the light one and in the water one, but I don't see the darkness one... Anyway, I think we still didn't have her yet?

i kind of like the girl in this case here more than the boy (1st gen) lol
thats probably because i think(personally) that the design fits a girl much better..
since i back then,when i started out,thought the 1st gen water was becomeing a girl,it got a female name XDD

by the way..i also do not see ANY relation between the first and 16th dark one..'-' honestly..(hate the 1st but really like the 16th*-* i just wished they wouldnt be skulls..i hate skulls XD)
but yeah the light one its also clear to me..even though i do not like this design at all lol
