Well, since I don't like eating meat, it's mostly vegetables for me. And cheese. But I still eat my beloved bread whenever starkad is away and that's several times a week.

I've always been a slow eater, still am. Plus mom never made it on time with me to the kindergarten, so I was eating alone, while all the other kids were already on the rug, listening to the story being read to them. And I felt excluded x.x And stared at... poor, odd child, yea x.x

@jacob: Parents always think they're right, that's what parents do xD

@Firn: Dear dog, how do you survive? x.x But now that I think of it, we mostly eat: bread, rice, pasta, vegetables and fruits, rarely meat, at least lately. Oh, and cereal XD

I eat mostly vegetables, beans, bread, cheese, dried fruit, and chocolate. There's still enough nutrients XD You get most of what you need from veggies tbh, then you just need a protein source (beans) and good fibre (rice/bread). Then when I'm cooking for J I get the soya or seitan or other meat substitutes for extra protein too.

I suppose I've never noticed how difficult it was to get vegetarian options. My mum and grandma are Buddhist. There are varying degrees of Buddhists. Ones that are vegan/vegetarian (grandma and other relatives) or ones that only eat that diet on important spiritual days (mum). The asian grocery store in our neighbouring suburb have always catered to this lifestyle and a lot of temples here give food out on the weekends. It's mostly a bunch of beans, green leafy stuff, rice, noodles, home made vegetable stock, fake meat tofu stuff.

Ugh, I hate bananas >n< I eat high fibre cereal/muesli thing every day, so that gets the job done. Most of the times :qhehe:
