We have some roses that neighbor gave us that still come back.

So that isn't normal?
Because my elderly neighbor loved her flowers and plants and she was good at growing them.
When I saw the bushes cut down like that, it pissed me off so bad xD
Like how fucking dare they destroy the rose bushes she cared for >___>

I'll try to get a picture of it and the other one.
The other one is blooming, but ours isn't.
Ours blooms randomly o_O

She had all kinds of little flowers. She also had a fruit tree that was supposed to have different fruits on it.
I never saw any fruit on it, though xD

Yeah fruit trees have to be pollinated to produce fruit. And its normal to prune rose bushes but not normal to take a chain saw to them. Flowers tend to be unpredictable. I miss having a garden.

I really don't know much about plants xD
I like to talk to them u8
I heard they like attention like that.

My grandpa loved planting trees and tending to them and his yard.

We lost our black walnut tree a while back. It's what I had my swing on and I miss it.
Well, a little tree started growing in its place and my mom and aunt were going to destroy it and I was like "Don't kill it ;0;"

I like to stare at big trees because it's amazing they've lived so long.
Like what all have these trees experienced in those years u8

The man who lived in our house prior had a little garden.
He was growing tomatoes and radishes, I think.
It all died when we moved in.
We tried to care for them, but I guess we didn't do it right.
My elderly neighbor next to my aunt had tomatoes and cucumbers.

Can you like...have a little garden inside u8
I know they need sunlight, but you can have a little garden, right 8u
I can't think of what they're called xD

Luckily a lot of the care can now be looked up online. I used to bug my mom and grandmother all the time before googling everything. Some plants have different soil, nutrient, light, spacing, and water requirements. Vine plants also need some extra support. Without someone to teach you these things its difficult.

My husband and i got a few herb plants and are trying to keep those alive inside.

Potatoes are super easy! Digging them up is a pain in the butt but other than that, they’re fantastic. My parents actually made a big planter for them one year and it made it a lot easier to dig everything up.

We got some basil, oregano, chives, and mint

I want to say the neighbor had potatoes, but...I don't remember.
I know he had radishes because that's the only time I ever ate them.
The tomatoes were always good x3
I prefer cherry tomatoes u8

Do you use those to cook u8
Or do you let them...I don't know, exist xD;
