Blessed rain today! So many ponds are disturbingly low here.

Droughts are terrifying; unless we hit flood levels I'm pretty much always happy to see rain, hereabouts.

I haven't seen rain in weeks.
Which is actually pretty normal for the season. It had been a while we had both normal temperatures (lowish) and weather (sunny).

I admit to not having gone outside at all today, and the curtains are drawn.
So if the weather app decided to lie, I wouldn't know it.
I should go for a walk.

We've had a bunch of rain, and its washed away all of our snow.

Real talk for a moment: Can we Go back to that month that Pokemon Go was released. Everyone was so happy and the only people down my throat were old men at work who complained about a cell phone app kids were playing. Can we have that? Please.

Droughts are definitely scary.
Of course, so can floods be...
Do you have to put up sandbags?

Oh. It's only happened to me a couple of times, neither of them was super serious.
Well, once the town had to turn out and deploy sandbags along the river, but we didn't lose the bridge in the end, and only a couple of streets were impassible, so it was fine. (Although the government inspectors did make us close the bridge for repairs, but it was floating and had a lot of debris piled up behind it, so we were worried about losing it altogether. Repairs were more of an inconvenience than a true problem).
Since my house at the time was on a hill, I didn't even end up with a flooded root-cellar.
Maybe that's why droughts are scarier to me?
Dunno.
Anyhow! Got out for a walk today! Bit brisk, but beautiful day, really.
