My glasses are like 5 years old at least. I seriously need some new ones.

It's totally normal to need glasses as you get older.

You have hugged Hotarla!

I just got new glasses this year. They have transitions so they turn into sunglasses in sunlight.

I have very light blue eyes so I'm very sensitive to the sun so I need transitions too. I was so happy when they invented them I was like fuckin finally. So instead of it taking me like 30 minutes to be able to see when outside now it only takes like 10 or 15 seconds. Good times.

ah is that so? its so rare to see, i usually just see people with boring dark brown/black eyes. xD;; so when i see someone who so obviously has different colored/light colored eyes, i tend to stare a bit longer lol.

people with light colored eyes always makes me do a double take. i'm sure some people wear colored contacts but sometimes, when i see those pictures of babies with like clear blue eyes, i'm not like "that's totally at least partially photoshopped, how can they have such pretty eyes!?" but i'm sure there are actual people who have eyes that color and it just makes me want to stare at them in fascination. xD;;

Fun fact, most white babies (I don't know about other races) are born with blue eyes. Then usually the eyes will darken or change when they get older. I don't know why this happens, but I sure think it's interesting.

You'd probably do a triple take at me then because my eyes are very light and my skin is super white too. lol. I do have darker golden brown hair though. I say golden brown because the sun makes the strands light up gold. In the sun my husband's hair lights up more red. His hair is also dark brown.

I have a friend who has gorgeous dark blue eyes. The rims around them are a really dark blue. They're very stunning. She also has very pale skin, but she has light blond hair too.

My husband's eyes are hazel. More green than brown.

Maybe it’s an age thing. Like as they age and become more mature, their eyes also mature and become darker or lighter. It’s like how babies are so fragile with their bones and stuff, like how they can’t even support their heads and stuff.

I probably would lol. Like I’d probably seem rude just staring but like I’m just staring cuz of awe and like fascination and trying very hard not to be rude by staring. 8u

Ooh as a biology major who specialized in evo devo and genetics I have the answer to that question! Light skinned babies are often born with blue eyes that get darker as they age because the body is still producing melanin even after they are born. The production of melanin is what makes eyes green, hazel, and brown and the amount of melanin can even determine how brown your eyes are compared to someone else's brown eyes. You genes that control melanin production are given to you by your parents which determines the baseline of how much your produce, but when you are just born, the body hasn't had a chance to make any or a significant amount yet. Once your body starts making more, those eyes turn into the color they are supposed to be.

Fun fact: if you destroy the melanin in your eyes, you get blue eyes.

Real talk for a moment: Can we Go back to that month that Pokemon Go was released. Everyone was so happy and the only people down my throat were old men at work who complained about a cell phone app kids were playing. Can we have that? Please.
