THAT.. No.. I was NOT expecting that! I feel like I missed something so I might rewatch that episode tomorrow.. just because I swear my mind went blank x'D

Worst part is.. now we gotta wait for NEXT WEEK to see what happens next..

Well.. they did say they were gonna do something new while keeping the nostalgia x'D BAM new! I felt like I was watching one of the Digimon World games where you can skip certain evolution stages to get to that one. x'D

YUP. My brain has turned to mush from that surprising ending. xD

so i'm skimming through Adventure 01 while i wait pft.

Think there will be a File Island like before? o3o

No idea. The synopsis says that they’ll be going to the digital world but whether it’s the digital world from the first Adventure or the current one in the remake, I don’t know. On top of that, Hikari was sick in the original which is why she didn’t go to camp and there were only 7 digidestined and they had to return to the real world to get her.

The fact that there was that strange Light/Hope surge that resulted in THAT evolution, I don’t think that ever came up, except in the movie when Tailmon and Patamon sacrificed their power to help in the final battle? And also when they fought MaloMayotismon or whatever his name was and Agumon/Gabumon were able to warp digivolve. But Light/Hope have always been the special ones because without Hope there is no Light and the light must be there to fight back the darkness. It was mentioned in Adventure 2 by Azulongmon. And the fact that the evil baddies in Adventure 1 were always targeting the younger two because of what they represented.

o3o quite a few of the animes had the tamers going to file island which is why I asked.

Like right now where they currently seems like the boundaries between digital and real world. There could still be an actual file island! oAo

Frontier o3o they were transported into the digital world. Adventures 1 and 2 named it file island (plus the 'World' games) but I always assumed the other seasons, when they were sent to the digital world, they just ended up in some spot on file island.

reallyyyyyyyyyy? i didn't know it was in Frontier as well. I mean, i wouldn't be surprised if it was mentioned in Adventure 02 but the fact that it was also in Frontier...xD guess i didn't pay attention to that. now i have to go back and watch it lol.
