No, the whiskers are not permanent, they're an item in your wardrobe. Rikashitsu sells permanent changes as well though, go look at the shop - it has two different parts, one for permanent changes (upper half of the shop, eyes and skintone) and one for body items (lower half of the shop, lots of fun stuff like tails, ears and much more).
