I finally got back just now from my ex's house this weekend.
I went over as a friend and hung out with him and his brother (who's basically my offline best friend), and it was kind of hard to mentally make it through, but I still had a decent amount of fun. ;o

So a few announcements. :3

Everyone who entered the last request went in very different directions with their creatures, which made for a very interesting turn out. I really liked each of the designs! One person went a bit above and beyond with her entry. Not only did she draw her creature, but she created a 7 paragraph description of it, including it's habitat and diet even.

So we want to say congratulations to CrazyMae for the winning entry of her creature Kharo!
Your prize is your choice of either a fairy coin, or an item off your wishlist.
Everyone else will be receiving trades with a 5k participation prize!

Thank you everyone for taking part, I'll try to have the entries posted on the front page soon!


For the second announcement, we would like to get some opinions!

How would you guys feel about being able to vote on the winners of some of the future requests?

I honestly have a hard time picking winners, and I thought it might be fun to let you guys pick some of them. But I know there are many ways this can backfire, or be abused, so I want to know what you guys think. :3

Hmm, maybe she could work out a point system. Where she assigns points according to categories on her own as the judge, and then whatever the public deems most popular, that piece gets one extra point or somethin'? xD

For the voting, I was thinking about using the poll on the thread... I actually hadn't really though about having you guys send votes to the mule, which seems like a much better idea...

The point system is a really good idea too...
