Makes sense

I am pretty torn in this one..

I was always against weed and I still am. I personally do not want to try it. Ever.
Only like jacob said, only when I know I am dying and I want to know what all the fuss is about.
I was raised that cigarettes are a bad thing, but that alcohol is okay as one knows when to stop. So I guess this influenced me a lot.
It is only the past year I was thinking more about alcohol, why I drink it, if I really should etc etc.
I never even was near weed when I was at school, but as soon as I started going to university it was pretty obvious to me that many people do it regularly and even more people did it at least once. But then I came to realize that many close friends do it and I did not like it AT ALL. We had long discussions about that and that's when I realized: if one wants to smoke, he/she will do it, no matter what you say. So I stopped trying to stop them. I always go "please do not do it when I am around and I do not want to see you when you are high. You know what I think about it".
I only interfere when I notice they do it more often than usual. But luckliy I am not the only one who despises it sooo yea. Difficult topic.

Exactly, people make their own decisions and they tend to hate it when you tell them otherwise, and often they just do it even more to piss you off, so... Trying to convince anyone does nothing. This goes for everything: weed, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, no difference.

That reminds me: is it weird that I've never been high and only twice drunk? x.x I've never been hungover and never was so drunk to the point of having to empty my stomach... and I wonder if I'm weird. I don't really feel I'm missing out, but I just wonder because so many people are doing it and I'm like "why would you even? x.x"

I like alcohol because of the taste. I love beer e.g.
I would drink more non-alcoholic beer, but it does not taste so good... unfortunately.
If you do not want to do it then don't.
Puking is not fun anyways, and being hungover neither.

Must be Polish drinking culture then XD But I think the trend of being an abstinent is bigger nowadays.
I don't like the taste of most alcohols. Unless they are pretty sweet and don't taste of alcohol at all
Exactly, that's why I wonder what's the fun in excessive drinking XD Plus you may do stuff you regret when you're sober.

I've never been drunk officially. I've never smoked or anything. But yeah I may not like it and stuff, but I try not to force people to stop it.

I like some alcohol, the taste. Just not the effects.

I tried smoking when I was really young (12) and I had my last cigarette when I was 17 and I am really proud of it.

I did not drink any alcohol for 2 months last year and this was great actually, I felt more concentrated and it was funny to see all my friends being wasted the next day whereas I was totally healthy and energetic xD
After this I decided to drink when I want to, but do not do it when I do not feel like it and this works pretty well for me.
Just now I wanted to write "it's a long while ago that I puked' but then I remembered... :D It's only November I think. Yea well that escalated. But hey, it's okay.
Puking is not that bad if you consider the effect of it as you feel better afterwards.

I have a huge phobia of puking and others puking around me.

So it is bad for me lol

Thus why I'm happy Peter's cutting down on drinking.
