@jacob: It's pretty impossible, the cable are everywhere, the rats get anywhere they want. They just demolish everything, bite whatever they please, I cannot contain them in any way. They bite not only tha cables, but also furniture, the walls, clothes. I bought a mineral block for them, to at least spare the walls, but they tried and then left it, as I assumed. It doesn't help that if they won't be outside the cage for at least 6 hours they won't let us sleep. We're sleep depraved, lacking patience and ideas to get them to behave. I have no idea how I ended up with two little beasties, but that's what they are. And as much as I grew close to them and I really like having them, I don't want them to get fried the next time they get to the cables. I don't want to give them away, but perhaps I have no other choice... :(

Maybe it's a stress headache? Or your blood pressure is low/high? It's so different for other people, my mom and granny get hedaches from high blood pressure, but I get terrible headaches from low.
