I don't mind doing or learning what I need to learn in order to get somewhere or in order to, say, get a good grade. But when it comes to doing "useless/pointless" things everyday then I disapprove as well.

Usually I would go "I don't do any house work until he notices what I usually do and eventually will do it" - but: it would take the guy too long to figure this out and I couldn't stand the mess so I would fix it eventually xD

Ah well thanks mem. I do not know if it makes life easier. Sometimes I think people rely on me too much or think "Ah I know Julia will calm down/retreat eventually so I do not need to call her/apologize". I get this feeling sometimes, but most (like 95%) of my friends know me and therefore still like to clear the air as much as I do. :) Luckily.

Well, not feeling the need to apologize isn't okay DX But at least you have good friends :)

I think I'm like J a little bit... XD Sometimes I don;t mind the dust and mess at all, or I pay no mind to it. Other days I just randomly start putting things to it's proper place. I think it goes like this: there's a mess in there - is it my mess? - yes - it may stay.

What I hate is filling in a huge application and then being expected to do a cover letter on top even though all that info is in the application and letter.

Well, it doesn;t really matter how they work, because they told me to get there at 9 am, and it's quite possible they start at this hour or at 8am. So I'll try calling at 8 am, so maybe when I get the address I can actually get there in time, but I am afraid I'll either have to move it to another day/hour or thy won't be interested anymore. Or worst cas scenario they don't pick up again, and they call me at 9, when I didn't show up, so then I'll be able to explain the reason and well, everything is my fault anyways.
Why do I never pay attention to what company and name they say at the beginning? omg, I just never can even hear it properly, let alone remember it, and the connection was so poor and she was mumbling! DX

This right here. Plus writing a cover letter is difficult for me, because in case someone actually read it, it must make sense and must show me in good light, and I don;t have the best opinion of myself. I always just want to write stuff that are already in my CV, and that's not how you're supposed to write this stuff. But well, I'm a dull person with no personality or experience, sorry for being basic x.x

I'm not looking forward to the writing applications and cover letters once I finish studying... *shudders* I remember when I had to apply to student houses, that was bad enough, but at least I kinda knew what to write in the cover letter, since the cv doesn't really cover things like what kind of person I am to live with... I remember writing it together with my sister and we made it a big sob story about me moving so far from home and needing not only a place to stay but also friends and stuff like that :D And we threw in mention of me loving to cook as well, since the student home had shared meals once a week that we cooked in turns :D
But it did work, I got the room and it was a good place for me to stay :)

Haha, at least it worked XD I'm pretty sure here you might to just need to prove you are from another city and don't have anywhere else to stay like no job etc. I think most of the girls on my year were just renting rooms though
