You're not being nosy at all!
I haven't got a dime to spare because I am a poor, unemployed college student trying to save up to move out of my parents' house, fund a life-changing, career-defining (and possibly life-saving) study abroad trip to Quito this summer, and start a college fund for my master's degree program, which includes not only tuition and books, but money for food, medical bills, clothes, rent, utilities, and a plane ticket, since I don't plan on doing my masters in the United States.
^^;
I'm in that wonderful time in my life where I have a world of opportunities in front of me.....and not a dime in my bank account to spend getting those opportunities. x 3x
Unfortunately, I am not at a place where I can afford living on my own. My medical bills are pricy. Multiple trips to the psychiatrist and psychologist a month. Trips to the doctors every couple of months. And enough pills a day to kill a small elephant.
Plus, vet bills are expensive. And my pup is a bit accident-prone. - .-'
And jobs are hard to come by in this economy. Especially one that will work with my college schedule. And with minimum wage being as low as it is, I'm barely breaking even! I've slowly been draining my life savings just trying to get by.
But, hey, what can you do?
In my field, I can't even volunteer (for free!) to clean the glassware at an environmental facility, let alone get a paying job.
So I'm stuck with whatever I can find.
C'est la vie, I suppose.
