@Raine: XD I tried to watch it when it first started and I just couldn't get into it. xP My mom says it reminds her of um..Twin Peaks or something. Oh, gosh. That's terrible writing. XD Sounds like a Dr. Suess book.
I never read the material we were supposed to read in school. I used to LOVE English but I started to get really dull monotone teachers and then I just had no interest in them at all. And goodness...I hated when they made people read aloud taking turns. x.x I was so amazed at how HORRIBLE people were at pronouncing the simplest words...
xD I have a few series unfinished. There's a fairy series I liked but it's weird the way the author wrote it. The first book is about some girl finding out she's a fairy then the second is about a different girl that gets hooked on like...fairy magic or something like a drug and the third goes back to the first girl and I just...got really bored with that one. /: It was better when it was a random main character each time. The other series was pretty cool too but I got bored with the third book, also. XD And I had a vampire series I was reading for a while that had some sex here and there. It wasn't terrible, though. xP
I'm a slow reader, too. I think I'm SLIGHTLY dyslexic because I sometimes jumble letters when I read. xD But the first book was so action packed that I got used to it real quick just because it was so suspensful I had to keep reading and find out what happened. xD And I know what you mean. x.x I have to read in a quiet, secluded place because if I can't focus 100% on the book, I read the same stuff over and over again but none of it sinks in.
@Fae: Oh, really?! I didn't know you could read Kindle books on a PC. I thought you had to have something that got apps to read them. I might look into that. There's a new series of fantasy books I want to check out but the author is writing TWO very similar series at the same time so if one set is good I might read the other as well. I didn't know there were world wide lending libraries, either. Our local library lets you 'borrow' digital classic books in the same manner. Thanks for all that info!
Also, I like the art in your sig! It's cute. :)
- - - - - On a side note: I'm into fiction/fantasy books. Usually anything with some sort of magic in it is good for me. xD I used to like vampire books until they all turned into the same book with a different cover (in other words, I'm not a Twilight fan). u.u; What's everyone else like? :)

Rainebby! ;u; I've been... Well I've been in a bad way, haha, so I haven't been around much. I'm sorry! I mees you. ;m;
Floofy Fox; dem wall of text! 8D; I didn't know you could get Kindle on a PC either until I found it entirely on accident and now it's one of my best friends. Mwahaha!
Thanks for the compliment on my art. 8D I have to draw another one now that I changed my avatar, tch. xD;
I like fantasy/sci fi books! I'm actually writing one right now~ 8D I'm almost done with it, gonna publish through Smashwords because it's free. I dunno, I always thought it was more fun immersing myself in made-up worlds. Stuff like mystery novels or romance... Eh, I get bored easily. Agatha Christie was good but most people tend to use the same sort of formulas, especially the more books they've written. (I'm looking at you Christine Feehan, Nora Roberts!)
Not that I can be one to take the pedestal, my story's not the most original one out there. Think .hack meets Hunger Games? Sort of.
Actually that's pretty close, ahahah! Accidentally perfect likeness.

@Fae: Hah. Yea, I was so against eReaders at first but I don't mind them so much now. I almost wish we had gotten the Hunger Games on there because our Walmart...is a bunch of idiots. All 3 of our books are different. XD The first one is paper back, the second is, too but it was only available in LARGE PRINT and the third is hardback. My eyes got used to reading in the large print I had to readjust opening the third. xD If they were eBooks...I could've just adjusted the font however i wanted. xP
I don't know about sci-fy. I always think sci-fy to be like alien/technology nerdy stuff like that but others define it differently sometimes and I get confused. @-@ That's cool you're writing a book. :D I've never been much into writing. I agree with the mystery/romance stuff as well. I've never been into those type of books. I sort of get a little sad when I am really into a book and the environment it creates because once it's over I'm just like '): Aw...back in the real world now. Phooey.'
xP Oh well, gotta start somewhere right? What's .hack, though? >.<;
(@-@ I talk to much...)

That's the problem with print, innit? You're subject to availability. Whereas with ebooks, they never go out of print, you can adjust the font however you like, and on some you can even set the background colors! (I keep mine at a nice sepia tone, paper colored background with dark brown font)
Sci-fi... Is... The way I look at it, it's like Fantasy that can be explained in a way other than "A wizard did it". Sci-fi is not entirely probable, but maybe possible. In a sense, the two are really interchangeable. 8D;
.hack is a series of light novels, manga, games, and anime that are based mostly in a virtual world. These people play a game, and the game turns out to be more srsbsns than they thought. There's an AI and people dying/going into comas and big ol' conspiracies... It's really fun. 8D;
I love writing because I have so many worlds I want to share with everyone. The story I'm writing right now is the first in a series. Idk how long of a series but I've got outlines for at least a few books and it's pretty open-ended if I want it to be. 8D;

I would probably put a background other than white as well. White sometimes hurts my eyes if I read for a long time.
Oh, I guess that's easier to understand. :D
I think I've seen people talk about .hack before but I never really knew what it was. xD;
I can understand that. xD I have a bunch of things I'd like to draw and share but they never turn out right. T.T
x3 Aw, that new drawing is cute, too!

I think I'm into fantasy/romance when it comes to books... but I really don't read a lot. Oh, I like horror a lot too...... a lot..... >_____>......
I have like.. 2k worth of manga on my bookshelf and only 6 books. *fail*
But yeah, I'll have to check out this free book borrowing thing cause I would love to try some stuff out.
I watched some of .Hack//sign when I was younger. I loved the idea for the story, but couldn't get into the anime (maybe because it was the dubbed version.. ick..)
@ Fae- oh no! ;o; Well I sincerely hope things start to get better for you! <33 Raine is here if you need anything. :)
@ Miyu- just getting rid of my headache finally. :)

@Raine: I don't mind a little love story in a book here and there but I'm not much into just a book about romance. XD I don't think I've ever read a horror book.
xD I liked the idea of having rows and rows of pretty manga covers all lined up but I got a few and I was like T.T they take up so much room. I haven't really read manga in a while. I was into Bleach for a bit but it was dragging on. I started to read Spice and Wolf too but I found that Funimation has a channel on YouTube and watched that. >3< I love it so much but they haven't done all of it and I think the manga is still being published. I'd read it but the ones I've found seem to be poorly translated and don't make much sense when reading. ):
And I'd read FullMetal Alchemist but they're doing that second series that follows the manga more accurately so I watch that. x3 FMA will always be my most favorite. It's the first anime that really got me into anime/manga.

@ Mollusk- Hi! <333 Love your tree thing you posted on facebook btw. ;w; SOO pretty and such a great idea. =w=
@ Floofy- I have... so so SO many manga. I was really into them in high school. I would save up my lunch money (which was like $2 a day.. how sad) and I'd buy a manga at the end of the week since they were $10.53 (I'd always come across an extra dollar along the way). They're all like Fruits Basket, stuff by Arina Tanemura (like Full Moon, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, Gentlemen's Alliance Cross).. then I have like Nana which is AMAZING! There's an anime and a live action show for it. Then I have other things no one's heard of like Crescent Moon, Kitchen Princess, Immortal Rain, ect. I don't usually get very into popular anime like Bleach or FMA, though I have nothing against them. I saw a bit of FMA, but it's too sad for me to watch. ;__; I dunno, I just can't handle that anime, lol. Sailor Moon is forever my anime love. She was my first, she is my favorite, she is why I draw. :)
As for books, horror are amazing. =w= I'd love to read more since all I have around here is Stephen King (cause my mom used to collect his books). IT still gives me nightmares... that was the first book that actually got me freaked out. @__@ Way scarier than that joke of a movie.
