My opinion is that if it starts out (meaning it's very first stage) without a chest cover, it's male. If it starts WITH a chest cover, it's female. Makes sense, doesn't it? It does to me at least...I'm pretty sure that's how it suppose to work, though heck I could be wrong. Anyways...that was just my take on it. Even if it's more 'feminine' when evolving, I think it's suppose to be a 'he' because of the exposed chest. Again though, that's just my take.

I wish to state that this could be completely wrong, this is just my personal perspective and take on things. I have seen a couple of 'uncovered' Knuffles that look kind of more feminine, but still to me an exposed chest says more male then female. I'd also like to say that I am not a 'veteran' of the site, so I haven't seen that many generations of knuffles. The earliest I've seen I believe is some Gen 10 or 11's for sale and a few other earlier ones from other people owning them, but normally their in later generations so I don't know what they looked like previously
