Noo way you're too old Moi! Not at all! I took a vet assistant course a couple years back, had a couple classmates that were above 50. If you want to do it, you should! The course I took was a four-month certificate thingy, but it didn't yield much for work... there's a two-year program I'm thinking about going for next. But that program would have me being more hands-on, rather than just admitting and discharging and looking after pups.. I need to build some more emotional resilience before I can do that, I think.. but it's all worth it, if I can help even one buppy.
Sucks about your beta fish :s he's lucky he had such a caring owner, though. Lots of people just use their fish for decoration T_T

It was raining all day here.

We had goldish
We overfed them
Didn't clean their tank (which was actually a storage bin for years) regularly
The cats drank the water
The cats puked into the water
Y'know, what should have killed them easily
Nope, we needed fish meds and those meds required water that was too hot for the fish cuz they were sick
That was about ten years later XD

People did wonder just how the heck were they not dead XD

You are all so lucky that you're experiencing rain. Well, luck isn't the right word... but it's -15C here and covered with snow.. so ccccold... I want spring to commmeee .. (to anyone who lives in a northern climate, yes, I know -15 isn't -40, but it's been above 0 for like a week so I'm a baby)

I like rain in all forms, cos it's not snow. I hate trying to go anywhere in heavy rainfall though, but who doesn't..
