EDIT: And my cat just brought in a Magpie.... and it's still alive, but in bad shape. =_= I put it in a box and covered it up to keep it warm... but I imagine I now get to watch the poor thing die thanks to the cat.... ;___; TODAY!!! WHY?!!

It looked really bad for a minute. It was barely moving and let me pick it up and everything. I went to wash my hands and when I came back it sat up all scared looking! Then it started flying around and calling it's friend that I could hear outside. So I opened a window. It was having trouble flying, but it seemed ok enough. Must have just been really startled or something. Glad I saved it though. Mint, the cat that caught it, she brings in birds and things all the time. Most times I can't save them. She caught a small bird the day before yesterday. :( A finch or maybe it was a robin? It was brown and had some red on the side.. but that one was dead by the time I got to it. ;o;

That darn cat caught a dove the size of her last month! ;o; It was so sad!!! I keep punishing her when she catches them, but she doesn't understand.

It could have been stunned. I know when I was working at the gym I used to work at there was a bird who hit a window and Mor and I thought that it was dead. Turned out to be stunned and flew away
