Me too~

Not a lot that I am qualified for, though. There are a few hospitals in the area and so they are wanting positions to fill in the hospitals. Most of them are requiring a college degree in the medical field, and the ones that don't, they aren't hiring guys because people like walking up to a female receptionist! I can do that job just fine... a lack of boobs is not a good enough reason to hire me! Those sexists!

There aren't even positions to drag my knuckles around a sales floor in some big box store...

People like to talk to boobs. Not our fault!
Are they hiring in the kitchens at the hospital?

Uhm.. What about a fast food place, temporarily, or a stocker at a grocery store

I am a furry, encase you didn't get the hint.
A Fox/Wolf furry mix at that. It's an obsession.
If you have an issue with it..
Then just don't talk to me about it.

I know~ I like to look at boobs too! Though, I don't stare and I try to be discreet... but sometimes I fear it's obvious... especially if a girl is always getting stared it... she might think I am staring when I am not~

There are few... and I've applied... and haven't gotten any call backs~

Do a follow up!
Go in and explain that you had applied and were just wondering the status of the job position.

I have... they always say that they haven't begun reviewing applications yet or that they'll get in touch with me at a later time... then eventually I get the email saying they are not moving forward with my application but they'll keep it on file for a number of days...

Jennifer Granholm was elected as the state governor in 2003, prior to that, there were so many jobs available, there were more jobs than people, so even entry level positions at McDonald's/Wendy's/Burger King were offering full benefits and like $10 an hour... it was a job seekers dream. But like I told you, she started raising taxes on businesses and making it harder for factories to hire people and keep people, so a lot of factories said enough and either closed down or moved out of state. She tried appealing to Hollywood and getting movies to be filmed here, but hardly any movie companies came. Then add in the nationwide crash in 2008 and things got miserable. A new governor was elected in 2011... but he hasn't been able to do much to turn things around. We started recovering and more jobs were coming, then a lot of policies from Obama started coming into effect and that killed our recovery, we've been at the bottom of the nation since... the market is flooded with applicants so employers can be super picky in who they hire.... because for every one applicant they turn down, there are 20 more to replace them.

Except for a gap in 2011-2012 and now since early July, I've been continuously employed since I was 8... I started mowing neighbors lawns and eventually started my own company and hired other kids to help me. We'd help garden in the spring, mow in the summer, rake leaves in the fall, and shovel snow in the winter. I'd charge people $15 a week and I would pay my friends $5 per house they cared for... and since it was usually only one day a week and a half hour of work, it was great pay... especially for children! Do 10 houses in a day, take you about 4-5 hours to do, depending on how large the yard was, and you'd make $50... I'd make more... but then again that was to pay for gas and equipment... and if my friends used their own equipment, I would increase their pay to $8...

I was able to save up quite a bit of money... but my mom took nearly all of it. Because I was too young to have my own account, I had to have a joint account with her on it, so all the money that I was trying to save up for purchases that I wanted, she was tapping into because she wanted to use the money to pay a bill, or something. I didn't really notice and when I wanted to buy a video game or new bike, or something, the money was there for me to do. I didn't keep track of how much I earned and compared it to how much was saved... I left it all to my mom...

But then a professional company moved in and took my customers away... also I started getting bored of it and started working for a friend of mine at a video rental place in 2000~ That lasted until 2009 or 2010, when I got into trucking... and I've had various other part time jobs in those 10 years, too, like working at Wal-Mart, and then some seasonal positions at other stores similar, like Kmart.

There's my employment history, mostly :D

Arty! *tackle*

I am... sore, oddly enough. My low back kind of hurts, not the back itself but it feels more like inside. And Foxy and I are both lazy today, though he's filling out job apps... I am too but I don't expect to hear anything back. Out of all the apps I've heard back from, only one has been positive but I could not take it because it would not be worth it. I would pay more money to get to work then I would earn from working.

And it's fine if you don't read~ You just have to read it later!

Worn out from work?

I didn't have work today, but I can't seem to focus :/
I need to go shopping today and do some studying but I don't feel like doing anything.
I don't even want to do fun things xD

read it later? is that a threat?! >8U

edit:
I read it after all :P
did you know that there is a rumor going around that all the businesses that Obama has visited go out of business within blank amount of time? It;s funny and I am watching 5Guys to see what happens

So, all three of us are having lazy days?

I have some school work to do today myself, and a paper due Sunday as well as Monday that I haven't started yet... I am a terrible procrastinator... I should really fix it but... maybe later... :mcmeh:

No, no threat~ As long as you read it! :D

(doesn't really care if you read it or not, I am just complaining about lack of jobs in it)

Oh, you read it... and no, I hadn't heard that! That is interesting. I do know several businesses that he has given money too have turned out to be scandals and money laundering schemes. Like that Solyndra, or however it's spelt.

No, I don't know what I did, I haven't done any strenuous activity recently... it feels more like my organs aren't working properly... I get that some times, if I don't drink enough water my kidneys start to hurt... so I shall increase my water intake! And I am strangely in tune with my body~

Fresh garlic and cranberry juice (not together xD) could help on top of lots of water.
