Caden: I think the general rule is to tag something as a spoiler if the movie/book/show came out recently (like in the past few months). you usually just have to judge if something is still spoilery. like if you are having a conversation about some show, you normally ask the person if they've watched it yet before you might say something that happens. And you can't really do that when you post (unless you are talking to someone on tumblr).
So you just have to go 'was this such a big surprise when I read it that if someone hadn't read it yet saw this, it might ruin it for them'

you can also just tag it with the series, and if someone has that tag blocked, it won't show up, even if you didn't put 'spoiler'. So there's an option if you can't decide
