Yeah. lol

Oh yeah. She's happily wearing her Batman socks.

No, but it's something you like so that's all that matters.

Welcome.

She was a happy camper to get Chinese. I want some dumplings. Unfortunately I don't know how or have time to make any.

That's good. A diverse group makes it more fun. I have a diverse of friends too. Unfortunately the ones I can see are busy with their lives and the ones I want to see live in different states or countries. It's kinda funny. I'm not very religious, but my wife is Christian and my best guy friend is a satanist. I'm amazed I'm normal. lol

lol That's a funny convo.

Well good news: I found my art stuff. Bad news: I've lost interest and now I don't know what I feel like drawing. BP I can't win. I've been like this for a few weeks now. I wanna scream, cry and eat ice cream all at once. Luckily I'm full from dinner to eat ice cream.

I just realized that "take out" means food, dating, and murder. And if you were a female praying mantis you'd have all three.

Yep, sounds good to me!

Ah. We live in a pretty big city here, so it's not generally much of a drive to get a certain type of good we want. ...unless you want Krispy Kremes. *grumbles* ...forty-five minutes...

Aha, but what is normal, really? Everyone's got their own brand of quirks or quirky beliefs, religious or not. My old RP group was diverse in religion. We had a Wiccan, Muslim, Mormon, two or three Christians, an Agnostic, an Atheist. Sometimes we talked about our beliefs, or joked about it, but for the most part we chilled and messed around and wrote and drew. XD

Aye, I really like puns and wordplay. I have a couple of buddies who really like them too, so we all get along well.

Is there something you can watch or read or do to get inspiration back? I always watch Oofuri when I feel listless, for example, and it helps me.

She even slept with her socks on. Nothing but unders and socks. lol Kids.

I live in a suburb. Most of the stores that have what we need are a bit further away. Only ALDIS is near by and we get cheap foods there.

True enough. lol It's always fun to have a mix of friends. They make things interesting.

Yeah. play on words can be fun. I did have an interesting night.

I must have been half awake because I couldn't remember messaging my friend. I woke up this morning with a text with three question marks and I was wondering what I could have wrote to her so I checked and it said: You owe me tea. And the time was like I think 12 something last night. I vaguely remember a dream about her and tea.

I wish. I'm not in the mood to watch anything really. I don't feel like much of anything period.
Everything I do seems to suck. I haven't doodled in so long I forgot how too. It sounds weird, but it's true. I can't even get a doodle going.

Man, I miss the days when I got to that level of excitement over something I bought/own. Closest to that would be the OCs I have, and even so, it's been a bit for me.

I don't even know what Aldis is. XD I live somewhere between two busy streets. a five minute drive would get me four different burger places, a chicken place, a couple of drink places (like smoothies or bubble tea or coffee), uhhh, and a lot of ethnic food I wouldn't actually eat (because there are better places if you're willing to drive just a bit more), and pizza, and a hot dog place.

Yeah. I mean, as much as I enjoy my own company, I can appreciate the variety because of the different perspectives; even within my own Christian group. The person leading last night's discussion brought up the question of the detriments and benefits of what it would be like if at the end of it all, God wasn't real.

One of my friends says there's no real loss in believing in God even if it wasn't true, my opinion was that there was, because although we're lucky not to be heavily persecuted here, there are other places (and other countries) where we aren't able to freely practice our beliefs. Then another friend added that the benefits for them still outweighed the cons because those people who practice what they believe in still got to live a passionate life, which is more than what could be said about living in the mundane. It was interesting to hear what everyone thought of it.

LOL, your friend must've been very confused!

Ah, that's a bummer. Have you tried changing up your habits or hobbies a bit? Sometimes being stuck in one place can drag you down, but if you add some new elements, it might help. Exercise and sunshine helps a lot too. Being able to go out and do weekly walks with my buddy was great for me. :3

I know right? I can't even remember the last time I got that excited. My mom suggests we get her an adult's small Batman shirt so she'll finally have a pj.

It's a grocery store. You can get Milk for like $1.44 a gallon. And lost of other cheap goodies. Wow. There's a few restaurants nearby, but no one in my family is big on Mexican cuisine.

Wild. I have nothing for that. I'd hate to find out God wasn't real.

She was. Poor girl. Now my mom won't let me live it down. XD

I've gone out a few times, but it just didn't seem to help. We don't have much sunshine right now. It's getting cooler and the clouds are hiding the sun a lot. I don't even feel like going out for walks. It's hard to change habits when you have no choice, but to wake up in the morning get the kid ready for school and do your chores and take care of your disabled mom. Then the weekend it's try and find something to do other than sit upstairs with the kid watching cartoons or sleeping.

That would be adorable!

Ooh, I see. I don't usually do much grocery shopping, but it's because we usually have my aunt help pick up stuff (90% of this is coffee) when she goes to Costco.

Aww, that's too bad; I love Mexican food. We sorta had Mexican food yesterday --er, that is, we had Taco Bell. It's sorta Mexican?

Same. God is very real --too many things have happened to me and my family for me to believe otherwise. I feel like He's helped me through so much, and have given me the strength to grow as a person; I can't even imagine myself with a different view in the future.

Aha, well, as long as someone gets you tea.

Yeah, winter is coming. It's sunny enough where I am, but the weather in general is moody af. It does what it wants and one day can be hot, while another is cold. It's just weird.

I get that. If it's possible to do, you've gotta push for that change sometimes though. Feeling trapped or listless for a long period of time isn't good for your mental or emotional well-being.

-----

On another note, I got my butt handed to me at work today. Made a mistake just because I'm a big push-over, but thankfully, my manager helped me resolve it after scolding me. *facehands*

Also made a lot of minor mistakes, but we were crazy-busy, so...eh. I'm just glad it turned out ok in the end.

I was feeling pretty lousy about it though, but coming home, I was able to open one of those random boxes that was just delivered. (The one I got was a geek-themed box, where they pack and ship random geek items, and when you open it, you find out what it is.)

I decided to open it with my little bro, and we both shared the loot that we got from it. XD He took a Steam game gift card and a Stranger Things t-shirt. I got a mug from Stranger Things, and the waffle-scented car freshener (which I find hilarious, but will never actually use).

There's also this horror-themed pin (it's Jason) which I'll never use, but we can always hang on to it as a back-up white-elephant gift. Aaand finally, (THIS) Batman-Pacman themed magnet set. I had a couple people in mind I could give it to, but my middle bro had first dibs, and since he wanted it, it goes to him.

I'm not continuing the subscription, but it was pretty fun to open the box and see what random stuff we got. XD

Yeah. We just have to explain it to her that it's a pj outfit.

Yeah we do a lot of grocery shopping because it's cheaper than going to fast food places. But I know it's different for each person due to situations.

I guess that's still Mexican. XD

I could never associate with a specific religion, but I will always believe in god. So much has happened that I can't not believe.

Thing is I'm not a big tea drinker. lol And I haven't thought of tea in months so I have no idea how the dream happened.

Yeah I'll try. Tomorrow Dad and I are going to get my daughter her shirt and maybe some computer games.

----
Wow. You had an interesting day.

I'm actually sorting out info on my Mystiqa story characters and other info. I've come up with some "basic" human tribes. Like what people looked like up north before breeding outside of their groups. They were short and stout and strong. Stereotypes of vikings and Inuits are sort of the inspiration for them. Not entirely, but there's a bit of essence of them. I dunno how to explain it. Since up north especially in ancient times it was mostly cold they had small eyes, but great eye sight in the dark, small noses and ears to cut down on the cold entering their bodies so they didn't get really cold.

Aha, nice. My sleep clothes mostly consists of whatever old shirt I liked too much to throw away.

Yep, that's true. I think most people go grocery shopping, though.

*nod* I can see that.

Aha; I feel like I drink tea very often. Every time we go out for Chinese, or when we want to drink bubble tea --that would be at least once every two weeks, I think.

Nice!

---

Aye, and I'm still recovering.

Ooh, that sounds interesting. I get that though; creating cultures that were influenced or based on real ones. It's nice in a way, since there's almost a template or reference you can work off of. :3

Same.

Yeah. Luckily for us our fridge and deep freeze and cabinets are full so we can spend a little on ourselves.

What is bubble tea?

Not me. I dunno why not. Maybe I need to try something different. I usually drink green, lemon or lavender.

---

Bummer.

Yeah. And it gives the characters a real feel to them. Even if they're made up, you could almost visualize them.

Nice.

Bubble tea, pearl tea, boba tea --it's all the same. Most of it is milk tea with chewy tapioca, or black or green tea with fruit flavors and tapioca or jelly. It's largely an Asian thing.

Aha, good writing does that. I've talked with my friends about OCs before, and someone thought we were talking about real people. XD
