I had once downloaded the english dub a few years back but i forget where. If anything just google 'digimon eng dub torrent' you'll find it =)

I prefer the original japanese.. mainly so i know the true story behind the anime and the characters real names. xD the names thing always gets me going.

I lost my netflix ages ago so i dunno if the netflix stuff is subbed or dubbed. some netflix stuff you get to choose the languages =) I liked that <3 be worth checking out.

I'm with you on name changes. I mean, I know the characters by their English names more than Japanese names (same for Pokemon) but I don't like the idea of changing names and removing Japanese culture from the show.

The only exception is the villain Muu in Monster Rancher. I think they could have justified changing that because to Americans it sounds like the sound a cow makes. Not a great villain name. ^^;

I think most of the Netflix anime stuff are in original Japanese with subs (I don't know if they do dubs, though it's worth a see), at least the versions I've found were. They were subbed by Fanimation. I'm watching an anime on Netflix called My Bride Is A Mermaid, it's pretty funny and I like that I can watch it on the TV.

I'm more of a fan of Japanese than I am of most dubs, with a few exceptions- like the Studio Ghibli's Ponyo American version has a pretty big celebrity cast that I knew of so I watched that version (this was on DVD though, not Netflix).

xD Most of the names given to the characters have a special meaning!

take the sailor moon characters for example!

Usagi Tsukino (Serena)

Usagi = Rabbit
Tsukino = of the moon

Mamoru (Darien)

Mamoru means to protect and his character is basically the guardian of earth and the one who protects and loves the princess.

and the sailor scouts last names all have meanings as well

Rei Hino = Fire
Makoto Kino = Tree
Minako Aino = Love
Ami Mizuno = Water

And then there is Detective Conan!

Shinichi Kudo (Jimmy Kudo)

his name played a HUGE part in one of the movies. the ICHI part of his name meaning 1 left him to be killed last but.. like that would ever happen <3

Tokyo Mew Mew! The character names represented food! I dunno their english names =w= but here are their name meanings!
Ichigo = Strawberry
Mint
Lettuce
Purin = Pudding
Zakuro = pomegranate
