Yeah from 20-21 i think it was like 10-20 times more.

it takes alot to level up and the max level is 40!

well did someone hit that yet?

I've heard some cheater hit level 40 long time ago, before Niantic started to ban them. He admitted he cheated when he hit the max level. That's why we know that the current max is 40, I think.

I don't know what happened afterwards. But I see some people around me with levels 35+, so there may be someone with 40 already.

I know people have hit 40
But the question is if they cheated or not.
I would like to hear about someone who has hit 40, or is close to it and actually hasn't put a cent in the game. I think that would be a great achievement!

Like firstly, why 40?? And why have a max? Like surely they can see the highest player so they should be able to create the next couple of levels when people are getting close to finishing them

i know a cheater who hit level 40, but he just wanted to see what the highest level was. He never took gyms or anything and he asked the company to delete his account :3

I believe there are a few players that have hit level 40 legit here in KC. I think they capped it at 40 because of the 2nd gen coming out. Niantic didn't want anyone to get too much of an advantage (although why they chose level 40 is beyond me).

Well tat cool, I kinda like a level cap because that means eventually the field evens out again.

Well, I had an awesome day Pokemon hunting today! I went to a park where Jynx (which I didn't have) was supposed to be spawning and caught 2. Then a bit later a Gyrados (which I also didn't have) spawned. WooHoo! That's 2 new 'dex entries in addition to the Raichu, Sandslash, and Golem that I evolved!

Yesterday I was actually able to catch a pokemon :D But then it crashed I now have a one day streak xD

And guys, ditto is in the game!
