Very much a pain. I have spent the past 2 hours searching for blobfish. I have 9 of them. At that rate, I would have to spend 10 hours on the site to get the 45 that are required. I need to spend 8 of those sleeping, so of the 14 hours after I wake up in the morning, I need to spend another 8 hours on KofK -- leaving me less than 6 hours for everything else that I need to do tomorrow.

My friend was able to do the anglerfish task but it took her 2 days to finish it. I hope that I'm not wrong about it ; A ;

Is there definitively no way to increase the pop-up frequency for this? I mean, unless I don't sleep, don't eat, don't do anything, I don't see how I can make it in 24h. T_T

blobs on the forum, the pop-up rate for me is pretty low. wonder if I should skip today =/

I've gone through 216 pages of a spam thread, clicking away to try to find fish and only have 9. And I thought the Anglerfish was bad. The Anglerfish took me about 200something pages to find. Honestly these odds of finding the fish are ridiculous.

I only participate in the Doughnight events usually which to my knowledge have never had popups like this so I'm not used to what you guys do. I still stand by my statement. I shouldn't have to go through 200+ pages and find 12/45 fish. The odds are not in my favor. It's very time-consuming. I realize we can skip but then what's the point of having a task that you can't even do?

Just because you cannot do it doesn't mean other's can't.

Obviously what is possible has a lot to do with how much time and work you are willing to put into a task.

You said you have gone through 216 pages. That takes about 216 seconds, maybe 2 or 3 times as long if your internet connection isn't that fast, so let's say 3 seconds to load a page -
You spent between 3,6 and 15,8 minutes on today's task, found 9 fish and are already complaining. If you aren't willing to spend something like an hour on one of the few slightly more difficult tasks, then this is because of your lack of time or commitment, so please do not blame it on someone else or even say that the task was impossible.

The Easter Event 2013 for example required a total of 1700 pop ups to collect all items. And people managed. THAT was hard! (too hard, probably) People have managed much more difficult events, this task isn't even really difficult compared to whole past events we had.

After reading this, I started clicking through the shops and found 11 in about 15 minutes. If I continue to have that kind of drop rate, I'll be fine. If I can stay awake.

I did have to buy most of my anglerfish because that task was on Sunday for me and I wasn't home most of the day.
