My mom used to drink and she was drunk one day and she slapped me across the face.
I was shocked and upset but I immediately slapped her right back xD
We laugh about it now.

I remember being told boxing would be the right sport for me because I'm so hostile and aggressive.
My dad told me "You do know you'd get hit back, right?"
You hit me - you really piss me off.
I wouldn't wilt and cry - I'd start hitting you back Bu

I know it's not really genetic, but my mom's side has really fiery tempers.
It's not hard to make us angry.
I can go 0 to 100 pretty quick xD
I also cry easily and a lot.
So I'd beat someone up while crying 8u

Hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)

My parents used to hit me.
I would not hit back, not even when I was bigger than my mom.
I guess I've always been running away from that kind of situation.

Are you sure tempers are not really genetic?
I dunno, there are things that seem to run in a family so deep that it's hard to believe it's not genetic!

I got spankings when I was a kid. I was a pretty good kid so I didn't get many but I did get them.
My bestie got hit with a belt by her father.
She told me once he'd hit her anywhere he could, including her face :\
He seemed like a real asshole and I think he was racist because he'd never let her go to my house.
Her mom always would let her and he'd say no.
I knew my bestie since preschool and she could never sleep over.
It made me so sad.

I think it's more of a learned thing than a genetic thing.
You grow up around people who have no control over their tempers and so you turn out the same.
Though people do talk about certain races being notorious for their tempers.
Especially Latinas and Latinos 8u
I also might have Irish roots and people say they have tempers too xD

You have hugged NoxNoctis!

This is so sad... for you both ;_;

I can't say I've had anything of the kind with my parents, mom slapped me like once when I was five and we cried so much together that it never happened again. We just talked things out and it usually was enough, probably because I was the "good kid" type who wanted nothing more than to please the adults, so I'd behave naturally well lol

But temper, I think, is also a zodiacal thing XD I'm a Saggitarius and we're not known for our patience haha. I have my dad's loud mouth too though, when we have something to say we throw it out, no filter or sugar-coating X'D

Well, that was how education was in the old times.
As much as I don't like it, I also try to not be judgemental.
It's always unfair trying to judge the past with current views. My parents did as well as they could, all things considered.

The Latin things, I don't know, I think it's just that we are all used that we are like that.
We are more inclined to say "Oh, well, that's because I'm Latina" and not care about being loud or having a temper. It's our perfect excuse xD

I actually wonder if Astrological signs mean more than what people think.
I find them really interesting and as a Libra, I think it plays a big part in my mentality.
I always strive for balance and fairness and equality.
When those things don't happen, it drives me nuts 8u
The only thing Libra that I don't agree with is being extroverted and a social butterfly.
NO <<

I don't know. I sometimes wish I could unlearn my bad temper but I think it's just part of me xD;
I'm always going to be irritable and have a fiery, quick temper.
The good thing is that I also seem to have some of my dad mixed in because he rarely gets angry and when he does, he gets over it quickly.
So while I might get really angry, I'm usually over it within 10 minutes.
Sometimes I even forget what I was angry about.
I post a lot on Facebook and I have posted "Oh my God I'm so pissed right now >Bu" and like an hour later, someone will ask what happened and I'll say "I don't know I forgot xD"

I don't believe in Astrology.

I think that the time of the year in which a person is born may affect to their personality, yes.
Because if your first months of life are so important to your development, being born in summer or in winter must make such a difference. The time you spend outside, the way your family socializes, it all changes with the weather.
But all that kind of stuff (weather, social customs, etc.) is quite local. so you really can't build a worldwide personality theory based on it.

And anyway most of it is just made-up stuff, worded in a fashion that sounds so relatable that pretty much anyone who reads it can believe it talks about them.

I don't know, I tend to try and keep an open mind about everything.
I believe anything is possible 8u

I know I can sense things. A big one is knowing my luck based on my whole life.
I can say "If I do __ then __ will happen." and I'm right 98% of the time.
I don't know the future - I just know my luck and so I usually know what will happen.

But there's been times where I knew something without there being any reason behind it .__.
Like this old radio show had a game where if someone guess the number of whatnots in a jar - they could win something.
I was listening to someone guess and she said her number and I instantly said "She won." right before they told her she won. Never heard it before. Didn't know how many were in there. I just knew she was correct.

I also remember a teacher dividing us into groups and he said whoever could guess the number he was thinking of would go first.
I somehow knew the number he was thinking of. Told my group, they ignored me, and he said the number and I was correct.
Don't know how I knew but I knew.
It wasn't a guess - I KNEW.

I was playing Hangman in Geography class once. My friend told me to guess the letters and I said a couple of them. Then I said "Strait of Gibraltar". My friend's eyes got big and she said "How did you know!?" and I told her "I don't know .__."

Mothers do this a lot. Know something is wrong without having any reason to know.

I don't believe anything is possible.
Because belief is not what makes things happen.
A person can't fly, no matter how strongly they believe it. They jump from their window, they're gonna have a very bad flight.

But.
Scientific proof is only a way for humans to understand how something happens. Not being able to prove them does not mean they are not true.
There are things science can prove, there are things science can disprove, but there are way more things that science can neither prove nor disprove - that's the beauty of it.
So there is plenty of room in the world for things we can't (and will never) understand!

The human mind, for example, is quite mysterious.
We probably know much more than we think we do, we just don't understand how we process some of the information but we reach to some conclusions because our brain has been working on the background.
Some people are so good at this that it becomes a sort of sixth sense.
There is nothing magical about it, but it's still impressive!

Having belief in things doesn't mean you lose your common sense or you're stupid xD

Sorry, let me elaborate:

I believe anything is possible but I'm not going to try to fly xD

I think it's possible aliens exist.
I think it's possible Bigfoot exists.
I think it's possible God or some being exists.

I'm not going to say "No, there's no way they exist!" because I don't know if they exist or not so I can't say they don't.

People say stuff like "If you trust God, you can jump off a cliff and he'll catch you!"
I don't believe that. God's got other stuff to do than to catch my dumb ass Bu
