I don't remember any change in taste, but then again the rare time I fly I am either sleeping or avoiding being puked on by the person sitting next to me (odd, but happened twice due to turbulence). :}

wow really? in recent times, ive been on planes a few times (when going to and from HK, going to Taiwan) but yeah, nothing like that has ever happened to me. the only interesting thing that happened was during one of the short flights to Taiwan, the man sitting beside me fell asleep so quickly, i was actually astonished. and it was a DEEP sleep too, like he was literally snoring. XD i thought it was so amusing.

Could be he took something to fall asleep, I've heard of many people doing that.
And yeah, the puking happened on two of my last four flights. Both times we got caught in severe turbulence due to a sudden up-winded thunderstorm, and both times the person next to me was just fast enough in grabbing the pukebag.
I personally prefer going to places by train, but some places are so hard to get to and have such impossible timetables that flying is just easier. But if they are available by overnight train.
Well. I haven't traveled since the start of Covid, and with how life is going I don't think I'll travel any place soon. :}

No idea lol. Still I was amused at how fast he fell asleep, I was like thinking “I wish I could do that” lol. Bc the flights between Hk and San Fran (where I had to transfer), it’s like 11+ hrs. And both times, I couldn’t sleep AT ALL. So I envy ppl who can’t sleep on international long flights.
And the flight I had with the snoring dude was a flight from HK to Taiwan. That’s just around only 2hrs. To be able to sleep on such a short flight, I was in awe. Lool

I slept on the flight Amsterdam-London which is 1 hour, and on the Flight Aalborg-Amsterdam which is just under 2hs. So there's that.
The one going to Aalborg was the one with the turbulence. Or I would have likely slept on that as well.
Then again I can sleep practically anywhere. :}

Yeah I couldn’t sleep no matter how long or short my flights were lol.

I once managed to fall asleep while standing and managed to remain standing till I woke up and yawned myself over. :}

I cannot sleep in any manner of upright position. When I was staying with my son overnight in the hospital, I ended up putting a blanket on that nasty, half-frozen February hospital floor to get what scraps of sleep I could.

Neither can I. And sometimes I can’t sleep at all lol.
