Then again, I am not based in the US, nor in Europe, so it's sometimes strange to me when people talk about what they just had for dinner when it's already the next day for me.

If there was a money issue it was never brought up. Just the .de to .com (with the lengthening on the side) to let the site appeal to more people

Yes it works for both retired and current knuffel; I do it a lot with both types.

It just doesn't work for Wild knuffel.

Oh, and on the leveling up and adopting/readopting knuffel for profit: The maximum point of return in terms of per xp for that is at level 40.
Level the knuffel to level 40, drop it, readopt it, level it up to 40 again, rinse and repeat.

The amount of time and xp needed per gained is the lowest when done at that level.


We did the exact math on the forum once, but I don't recall which thread it was in.

I took Latin and Spanish in school, but German was my favourite language and I tried to study on my own. Didn't get far at all. If I can ever take the time to get back on Duolingo, I'll finish what they have on Spanish for practical work purposes, and then I want to dive into German.

As for the url topic... I wasn't around when that happened so no idea what the reasoning was.
It's too bad that it also resulted in so many broken links though especially in some guide threads etc

For me it's French which I had in school and now have forgotten most of it. And then I never found the time to get into it again.
Same with Japanese... Not that I ever knew much but a little more then 10 years ago I could form basic sentences and now I'm glad if I even remember a word ^^°

I learned French. It’s compulsory here in Canada for I think most of it. I started in grade 3? Learned it til grade 12 (altho I think back when I learned it, you can drop French after grade 9). Long story short, i learned squat lol. XD
