I do use fitbit coach but I ran out of free sessions so I found a 12 min hiit session online and used that, though only did half of it cause it's very intense and the 2nd half was the same as the first half and I was pooped by then anyway.
For me doing small sessions for now till I can do half hour daily is all I'll do. But I do not want to become one of those fitnuts.
I'm not sure I'm getting your point. Above you said you had no room for big equipment, which I totally get and don't have either. But bodyweight exercises are exactly those that you don't need a lot of equipment for and they tend to be very much possible to do with limited space, with even some people doing tutorials specifically aimed at people who don't have much space, as mem referred to.
But starting with some small exercises you can do and trying to get to a level you're happy with sounds like a good approach. Maybe start out with something less intense than hiit if that's too much for you at the moment? Those can be really challenging. I think it's better to start with exercises that don't make you feel pooped after a super short amount of time and instead increase the intensity of the exercises as you can do more, not (or not necessarily) the length of the session.
And yeah, I think it's totally normal to not have space to just leave your mat lying around? I guess you'd really have to be super into fitness and do it all the time to justify constantly occupying space with it.
