To add onto what Poshi said in your introduction thread, there are a bunch of ways to earn
. You can play Memory for 1000 food a day. Use pencil and paper, overturn all the tiles your lives allow, match them back to back (this keeps doubling the score) and lose on purpose once your score crosses 10,000
Then in two days you'll have enough food to adopt a permanent Knuffel from Knufftropolis! Those are the official Knuffel, they give you 1000 food every 10 levels, and can also dig up food from Candy Island. They also dig up materials, which you use at the Alchemist's.
Posting in the forums is a fun way to make both food and friends. Answering polls gives food too. One trick I use is making a spam thread with a poll. Whenever an option in a poll is added or deleted, the votes get reset and you can answer the poll and earn food from it over again. So I keep editing the first post of my spam thread, changing the poll options, and answering them, when I need to make a quick bit of food
Also, you could check out the Charities forum! Kat's Fairy Coin Charity has a
raffle every month! (Fairy Coins are super valuable because you get them by donating to the site, and they get sold for as much as 60,000 food. Yay inflation.) There are also charities for specifically for newbies, including one that gives you food for a permanent Knuffel. Some of them require you to post a few times in the Charity thread before you can win any gifts, to encourage socializing. So they're also good places to chat
