Fortunately I haven't had to deal with that in a while; I swear I got them due to the laundry detergent. It's the only thing that changed and I never got them again after starting to use soapberries instead of the detergent.
Yeah my mom is allergic to scented detergents so we use scent-free. A friend of mine who lived with us for a couple years used to get UTIs on the regular but had them disappear living here, though that may have just been the water
