She tripped on a toy going down the stairs, and when she fell one leg went away from her and the other one took all of her body weight when she fell because it was tucked under her.

I've always been accident prone in life but I have never broken a bone like that. I did have a kid step on my face on a jungle gym and it broke my nose though. :CC

Oddly broken toes don't actually hurt, they just felt off in a very odd way. Like my foot stopped an inch too short. :}
