Mm, great philosophy. That'll make things a lot easier. :mccute:

Now that's just asking for drama... :mcsmirk:

What, you were expecting a summer camp for teens and prepubescent tweens to be dramaless? >3>

I suppose it could be hard to write a female character if you identify as another gender, y'know, since girls supposedly have different thought processes and urges, which is bullshit.

Of course! Teens are just full of peace and flowers and sunshine, didn't you know? :gfish:

I just plain have a hard time writing as someone normal. :mcconf:

Eeeeeehh, I've never written a character who wasn't fully human before. And I've tried writing superpowers on the occasion, but I can never get it to work quite right.

I've never written as anyone who was fully human, so this'll be new for me. Especially since I haven't played as anyone but Alex in the past two years. :mcconf:

I'm hating my new characters already. :mclol:

Don't write as someone normal then! Humans aren't normal! I certainly am not 'normal' and neither are you! Depends on what you define as normal of course... but still, I'm sure I'm not anyone's definition of normal.
'Normal' is like my mom. She's super practical which is good but if there's something she doesn't want to see, she won't see it, if she doesn't want to think about it, she won't. Her definition of a good story is, happy in the beginning, happy in the middle, happy at the end. I try explaining to her that there's no point of a story that's happy in the middle but she won't listen.
She mentioned a man who was the CEO of some company and came out about being gay, and said what's his problem, why should he? Well what I wanted to know was why did she ask if she wasn't prepared to hear out an answer? She hadn't meant it 'seriously' to start a conversation apparently. She flat out refused to even pay attention to what I was saying because she didn't want to think about it. She just wanted to diss gays without thinking about it because that's what she's comfortable doing :mcargh:
...Sorry for diverting into a rant :mcheh:
It's very difficult writing for a character you hate, just as it's difficult reading a character you hate, except it's much much worse. I speak from experience :mcsweat: you better find a way to adore them, or change them to your liking.

EDIT: Just saw your girls.
tends to dress like a slut
dresses modestly

:mcsweat: Kind of ambiguous don't you think? I don't like labels so maybe it's just me but are they both really dressing to put some sort of signal across? Most of my friends dress however they feel comfortable and prefer not to think about how they'll be judged. (It's not fair. Boys don't get judged along similar lines :mcangry:)

That's harder, to my mind. That's an ongoing, you have to live with it forever thing, instead of one single moment that's the exception instead of the rule.

That's probably YOUR friends. There are people who dress according to a certain label or some such. Trust me, I know. And I think I'm the only person who ACTUALLY dresses according to what she's comfortable in (when her mother's not forcing her otherwise).

And Umbra, your second girl, the one who dresses modestly sounds scarily like someone I know...

Your friends probably 'read' others' clothing too. Well I think it's stupid. :mcgloom: It's the root of those moronic rape debates where they accuse the victim of wearing 'provocative clothing', Xena-chan told me of a case where the rapist accused the victim of wearing 'provocative clothing' and fucking walked free while she was fucking jailed and not allowed to abort. :mcargh:

Who? Someone I know too? :mcconf:

Okay, THAT is fucking retarded. The victim can't be jailed while the PRIMARY CRIMINAL walks. People are fucked up *shakes head*

There are so many people, I'm sure you know someone...
