My mother reads a lot of Gregory. Is that one of the Tudor historical ones, or a different series?

I'm going in kind of blind, so I don't know much about it yet. It's book #1 in the Wideacre trilogy, about a teenage girl (so far anyway) in the 18th century.

Sanssouci, I see, just starting a new book might seems like a good distraction :)

Alice, that's lovely, that you are a teacher! And also teach 2 hours at uni :)

It also sounds like a book that I would not read actually :D

well, sounds good anyway XD

I've been reading the same ebook for about a month now I think. It's not very good so I don't have much motivation. Which is fine as there are other things I can do with my time now my goal is finished.

That is true :)

I really like the illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone :) I am reading it for a paper now, it was a gift :)

I finally got hold of a copy of Janet Kagan's "Hellspark" which people have been recommending for a while now. And I'll read it as soon as I'm done rereading the Tamora Pierce books because sometimes you just need some familiar HEAs.

Julez who is the illustrator for that HP book?

That's true, familiarity in books is nice once in a while :)

Jim Kay is the illustrator :)

A small update: I've finished a couple more books since I last posted here, including A Journey to the Centre of the Earth. I have now read two books by Jules Verne and can say that I really enjoy his writing style. He seems to easily manage writing such compelling stories with so few main characters. Journey to the Centre of the Earth only had three main characters and they were sooo different from each other, it made the whole dynamic throughout the book thoroughly interesting and very easy to continue reading.

Completely off topic, but, i've had a pop up keep telling me there is something in the Vault ?? does anyone know where the Vault is? I've been struggling to find it since yesterday.. :mcsweat:
