There are both potato and turnip monthlies. The box one contains the turnip items. But the potatoes monthly items is only from the gacha. But at the beginning of the month a lot of people are trading for the items they didn't get in for different ones.

Yeah so Oran is in charge of the potato monthlies, and you can earn potatoes through regular game play. Pai is the one with the turnip monthlies and turnips can only be purchased via real money. You can also buy the monthly chest, which will ONLY include the Pai/turnip monthly items.
