True. I am not as critical of myself as I was.
As I am trying to change my way of thinking.
Especially with failure.

Failure doesn't always mean something bad is pretty much
what I am trying to teach myself. :mcheh:

And failure means you have much to learn.
And I am super excited to learn within art now.

I used to cry because my art just plain sucked.
I complained about it a lot in this thread.
Now I'm to a point where I can pat myself on the back.

I see it as if you never touch fire and never get burned - you won't know fire burns.

I still feel meh about some things, but I don't hate what I make anymore.

I don't make a whole lot of art tbh.
I either have too many ideas or not the skill to
execute my ideas. :mcsweat:

Right now though, I am more focused on my studies
as I just overall want to get better so been trying to practice
the main fundamentals i want to learn.

I start so much stuff I never finish.
I used to be able to complete 4 artworks a day nearly every day.
They weren't that good, but I got them done.
Now it takes me forever to get anything done.
Especially with my hand hurting off and on.

That's a good way to go about it.
I have skipped drawing for months just watching others make art and learning new techniques.

There's my most recent art and some of my older ones.
I applied all the stuff I've learned over the years into my recent one, so it's good to study up on stuff and it pays off 8u

Yup. I don't produce as much anymore. I also just
have a hard time finding time to art unless it's night
before bed which doesn't leave me much time to work on art. :mcheh:

I spend a lot of time studying and watching art videos.
I had over 500 videos on it and now I have 430 so I've been watching
a lot lately.

I usually want to create something but I need to get better with my anatomy a little further.

You watch Speedpaints a lot too?
I have so many of them that I've watched.

My anatomy is meh. I will have the hardest time just drawing an arm or shoulders o_O
It looks easy. Then I just fail utterly 8u

Yeah, Same.
At night my brain goes crazy with ideas. I am just like "NO. IT. IS. BEDTIME."

Yeah, I watch tons of them that I even have a playlist of speedpaints.
I have several art playlists on youtube. :mcheh:

Arms, shoulders, and necks are what I have trouble with the most.
Mostly building the neck and shoulders is a struggle since I used
curved lines for the neck and I am trying to not do that anymore
since I am aiming to be a semi-realistic artist and curved lines for the neck
aren't actually realistic. :mcsweat:
