I think your pirate chick looks awesome! I love how many little details you added to her clothing. And you're so good at making charas sheets o3o
Also, you could use all colors, but some in smaller amounts, so that 1 or 2 are like the dominant colors?
My pirate is already sketched since so long agooooo, but I'm not sure about what colors to give her. Here's a tryout I did, but I don't think it looks too good...
