There's something bothering me about the corners of the mouth though, but it's not that bad that I don't still like how she looks... Can't wait to see how she'll eventually turn out!
Mind if I ask how on earth do you and Raine make your eyes look so alive/3d-ish?

Thank you! I think they look a tad detached from her hair, so I'm gonna work on that a bit more, but so far so good I think. ^^ And yeah, this is the Harlequin one I was talking about! No worries, the corners of the mouth kinda bother me too... I'll try softening them and making them come together with the face a bit better.
I think that parts all in the shading of the iris and the placement of the shine spots. For me, I make sure it's darker at the top of the eye and I try to integrate it a bit down into a much brighter part of the eye. With a little blending to soften the edges, and more dark on the far edge of the eye than the inner one, it usually turns out ok. Its usually the placement of the pupils that gets me really though... I make sure the pupils are on their own separate layer and try and try again so they don't look cross eyed. XD Then I just pick a nice angle for the shine spots and place 1-3 in the eye based on the lighting I've chosen. If you place the shine spots and opposite angles in the eyes, like the ones on the right eye facing right and left facing left, they tend to look a bit cross eyed. But if you don't have highlights/shine spots at all, the eyes can look really flat. In realistic drawings, with real eyes, if you don't add highlights it can make a person look dead.. ><
