Oh! I'm glad your grandmother is ok, Mouse.

As for siblings, I only have a younger sister. I've been an only child for a long time though... she came ten years after me. It's sometimes kind of hard to relate to her, since she's so young, and it can be tough with her around, haha!~ But siblings do help each other out in tough situations, so I don't mind.

  • Thanks, Shadow.

    I've always wondered about sibling relationships when they're so far apart in years. My brothers and I are fairly close; I'm two years younger than my older brother and five years younger than my oldest. But my ex is so much younger than her sisters that she's only about 10 years older than one of her sister's kid. (She's 20, her sister is in her 40s). It's insane to think about.

But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.'

Ahh I understand that!! I said my mom was the youngest of 7 right? The only one we talk to is the oldest girl who is 10 years older than my mom...

Now you want to really get out there?

My mom had me late, and my aunt had children early so...her oldest son(my cousin), has a son and a daughter that are about 5 years older than me. Their youngest is my age. So to try and sum up, my aunts grandchildren are older than me...

Thats pretty much the case for all of my cousins though...the cousin closest to my age is 7 years older than me. So the "cousins" I grew up with are actually my cousins children...

hehe its weird to other people but I never even realized this until I was about 12...I just knew they were family so I never thought about it...

  • Holy crap. xD That is really out there. I guess it's the same for me and my cousins on my dad's side, though. They're all older than us and had children when we were young, so our cousins' kids are either around our age or a little older. It's weird to be on the same level as your aunt's grandchildren! But only when you think about it. I don't give it a passing thought at any other time.

    I guess it's also a little different when it comes to cousins instead of siblings. Since, in most cases, people spend way more time with their siblings than they do their cousins.

haha. Every family has its quirks...I don't really mind though...even though it gave me practically no playmates, When I was with my cousins they had a stable life with money and a car, and were able to get me a gift or treat me to lunch when I saw them so thats a plus!! :mclaugh:

Wowzee, that's really interesting. > w< The family that I grew up with was so simple... we didn't even have visits from our other extended families because we moved out of the country. I usually only see this one uncle that moved to Canada with us on New Years, and that's about it.

I wonder how people deal with these age differences. All I know is that I'm really distant from my little sister. But that's for me, so...

EDIT: I'm sorry I've been away for a lot... graduation decided to leave me really tired and unmotivated to chat with others. ; A;

GUYS GUYS GUYS. I just noticed you could add friends (and they don't just appear onto your friends list through some magical way like I assumed before). Late, I know, but that will not stop me from bombarding everyone here with a request, haha!~ > w<

Just a heads up... yup. Okay.
